ATB Financial, the Alberta Crown-owned bank, has appointed credit union executive David Mowat as its new president and CEO.
Mowat replaces Bob Normand, who has been president and CEO for the last six years.
Since 2000, Mowat has been chief executive for Vancouver-based Vancity, the largest credit union in English Canada.
ATB is the largest Alberta-based financial institution, with 154 branches and 134 agencies across the province.
PFB Corp. (TSX:PFB) has named Bruce Carruthers its chief operating officer.
Carruthers has been a director of PFB, and the president and general manager of Plasti-Fab Ltd., PFB's main operating subsidiary, since 1992.
Calgary-based PFB is a vertically integrated manufacturer of insulating building products.
Solium Capital Inc. (TSX:SUM) has changed its U.S. subsidiary's management.
Russ Waterhouse assumes the role of president and chief executive officer of Solium Capital Ltd. Waterhouse has been providing consulting services on a part-time basis in connection with Solium's operations in the U.S., and has been the executive chairman of Solium's board. He has stepped down from that position, but will continue to serve as a director.
Marcos Lopez, Solium Capital Ltd.'s previous president, assumes the role of executive VP for corporate strategy and business development.

Jason James, a CA with 13 years of experience, becomes CFO. James replaces David Harris, who retired at the end of 2006 as VP and CFO.
PetroGlobe also has appointed Erik Christiaansen to the position of chief engineer. He brings Canadian, international and offshore drilling engineering experience.

Winalta Inc. (TSXV:WTA.A) has named Mike Neufeld to the position of VP of logistics and distribution for Winalta Industrial Manufacturing. He brings more than 16 years of industry experience to his new job.
Winalta produces manufactured and modular CSA-certified homes and site-built homes. In addition, the Spruce Grove firm manufactures industrial trailers and camps.
Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU), a big oilsands operator and gasoline refiner, has restructured its senior management and appointed one of its key oilsands executives to the new post of COO to help manage the Calgary company's future growth.
Steve Williams, previously executive VP of oilsands operations, is now COO. Mike Ashar, a Suncor VP at refinery operations in Denver, will become executive VP of strategic growth and energy trading.
Two weeks after suspending distributions to investors, drilling company BlackWatch Energy Services Trust (TSX:BWT.UN) says Earl Connors has resigned as president, CEO and a director "to pursue other interests."
The Calgary trust said it will immediately begin seeking a replacement for Connors. Meanwhile, Robert Copeland, VP and COO, and Paul Partlo, VP and CFO, will be responsible for the CEO office.

Canadian Pacific's senior operations executive, Neal Foot, is retiring after more than three decades of service, the railway (TSX:CP) says.
Foot's responsibilities will be assumed by Brock Winter, senior vice-president of operations, in early April.
CP is Canada's second-largest railway, with its head office in Calgary.
Broadview Press Inc. (TSXV:BDP) says Fraser Seely has agreed to join the company as COO, effective April 2. Seely will replace Craig Lawson, who has announced his plan to resign on June 29.
Seely has worked in publishing for more than 20 years. From April 2003 to May 2006, he served as a Broadview director.
Broadview Press is a Calgary-based publisher of books aimed at the university and college textbook market.
Geoff Barlow has been named VP and CFO of Husky Energy Inc. (TSX:HSE).
Prior to this appointment, Barlow was the VP and controller of Husky Oil Operations Ltd.
Husky Energy is an integrated energy and energy-related company headquartered in Calgary.
