Magna International Inc. founder Frank Stronach has split the autoparts maker's chief executive title between two Magna group executives, Donald Walker and Siegfried Wolf.

As co-CEOs they will fill the role held by chairman Stronach on an interim basis since his daughter Belinda Stronach left last year for a career in politics. Walker, who has been with Magna since 1987, was previously CEO from November 1994 until February 2001, when he shifted to the top of Intier Automotive Inc., Magna's interiors subsidiary. Wolf has been with Magna (TSX:MG.SV.A) since July 1995, most recently as executive vice-chairman of Magna International.

Kerri Molinaro has become president of Ikea Canada, the first woman and first Canadian to hold the post. She succeeds Luc Lauwers, who becomes president of Ikea Germany.

Insurance industry veteran Cindy Guyatt has been named country manager for Canada by XL Insurance Co. Ltd. She has more than 20 years of insurance underwriting experience, and was most recently president and CEO of Travelers Casualty and Surety Co. of Canada.

XL Insurance Co. Ltd. is a U.K.- registered company writing primarily global-risk management property/casualty insurance for large national and multinational corporations.

Rosemarie Leclair has been named acting president and CEO of Hydro Ottawa Holding Inc. for 14 months. She is currently deputy city manager of public works for the City of Ottawa.

Leclair replaces Ron Stewart, who retires April 15.

Harris Steel Group Inc. (TSX:HSG) has appointed former executive vice-president Paul Kelly to replace the recently promoted John Harris as president and chief operating officer.

Harris was named chairman and chief executive after the death of former chairman and CEO Milton Harris, the company's founder.

Kelly, formerly president of Harris Rebar, will remain a director of the company and also retain his role as president of Laurel Steel, a division of Harris.

Taking over for John Harris as president of the rebar division will be vice-president Wesley Colling, who was previously in charge of overseeing the division's U.S. operations.

Harris Steel Group is engaged in the fabrication, production and marketing of a variety of reinforcing steel, bar, wire and grating products.

Basil Botha has joined Cash Minerals Ltd. (TSXV:CHX) as vice-president for business development, while Greg Taylor has been hired as vice-president for corporate development.

Botha has more than 20 years of international coal mining and marketing experience. Taylor is a senior investor relations and corporate communicator.
