Atlantis Systems Corp. has appointed John Kalas as senior vice-president and chief financial officer.
Kalas began his career with Arthur Andersen, now Deloitte, and later held senior financial roles in a number of companies, Atlantis said in a release.
Atlantis (TSX:AIQ) is a training integrator for customers in the military and commercial aviation sectors. Its headquarters are in Brampton.
Sterlite Gold Ltd.'s president and chief executive Sanjay Dalmia has resigned and is being replaced by B.K. Sharma.
The company (TSX:SGD) said Dalmia was leaving for personal reasons.
Sharma was previously chief operating officer at Hindustan Zinc Ltd., a subsidiary of Sterlite Industries India Ltd.
Sterlite is a gold miner with major interests in Armenia. Its Canadian office is in Toronto.
Wolfden Resources Inc. (TSX:WLF) has appointed John Begeman as chief operating officer.
Begeman, a mining engineer with more than 29 years of experience, had been VP of western operations for Goldcorp Inc. since 2000.
Wolfden is a mineral exploration and development company with advanced-stage properties in Canada. Its head office is in Thunder Bay.
Grandview Gold Inc. (CNQ:GVGI) has named Ernest Cleave as its CFO.
Cleave was most recently manager of corporate planning and analysis for Goldcorp Inc.

Young-Shannon Gold Mines Ltd. (TSXV:GYS) has appointed Michael Robb as its CFO. The company says he brings 15 years of corporate finance management experience in both public and private firms.
Young-Shannon is a precious metals exploration company that holds claims between Sudbury and Timmins. Its head office is in Toronto.
Solvay Pharma Inc. Canada has named Graham Jobson as its new president and chief executive.
He replaces Laurence Downey, who held the position for six years before being appointed to the company's U.S. division. Jobson was previously the CEO of Fournier Pharma Inc.
Solvay Canada is a research-based pharmaceutical company focusing on cardiology and men's health. Based in Markham, it is a member of the Belgian-based Solvay Group.
Elliptic Semiconductor Inc. says it has recruited Stephen Yee as its new VP of sales. Al Hawtin, a founder of the company, will take a new role as VP of marketing and business development.
Yee was most recently VP of international sales at Numerical Technologies.
Elliptic provides semiconductor intellectual property cores and software for secure communications. Its head office is in Ottawa.
ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. (TSX:ATA) has appointed James Kopperson as CFO for its Solar Group. He was most recently CFO and VP of corporate development for RDM Corp. The Solar Group consists of Photowatt International and ATS's Spheral Solar Power division. ATS's head office is in Cambridge.
The founder and executive chairman of the Associated Brands Income Fund has left his executive duties and turned over the reins of the dry-foods maker to Rob Dougans, its president and CEO. Associated Brands said that John Currie becomes non-executive chairman of the board of trustees of the fund. Associated Brands (TSX:ABF.UN), through its operating subsidiaries, is a Toronto-based North American maker and supplier of private-label, dry-blend food products.
