Sawyer has 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector as a technical sales and marketing manager. He has held senior positions in several leading energy companies and is active in a variety of prominent industry groups.
Baseline Technologies provides pipeline operators with integrated data management, risk management and decision support services.
Resolute Energy Inc. is making changes at the top. Brian Cumming, vice-president of operations, has left the Calgary-based energy firm to pursue new interests. His duties will be assumed by Dave Elgie, executive vice- president and chief operating officer.

Calgary-based Norex Exploration Services Inc. has named Michael Broome as vice- president of sales and marketing for spinoff firm Norex Geophysical Inc.
Broome has been involved in the seismic industry for more than 35 years and is the founder of several Calgary-based seismic firms including Pacific Copy Ltd. and Pacific Surveys Ltd. He is a co-founder of Exploration Seismic Services Ltd. (EXSSEL) and Norex Exploration Ltd., the predecessor company of Norex Geophysical Ltd.
Norex (NRX-TSXV) provides 2D and 3D seismic data acquisition and processing services to the upstream Canadian resource industry.
Janine Rossos is the new vice-president of exploration at Exceed Energy Inc.
Previously, Rossos was VP of Canadian exploration for Bow Valley Energy Ltd. Prior to that, she held senior posts with Courage Energy Inc., Sceptre Resources Limited and Pennzoil Canada Inc.
Richard Wolff has joined Calgary-based Elite Technical Inc. as controller and CFO.
Elite (ET-TSXV) is a Calgary-based manufacturer of cable assemblies and connection services for use in a broad range of consumer products, commercial and industrial products, and electrical systems.
The merger of Calgary-based Berens Energy Ltd. and Resolution Resources Ltd. has led to changes on high. The company, which will continue under the name Berens Energy Ltd., will operate under the current Berens management team.
The team will be led by Robert (Bob) Steele, CEO; Dan Botterill, president and COO; and Dell Chapman, vice-president of finance and CFO.
Steele has been CEO and a director of Berens since its inception in March 2002, when it was named Plurion Systems Ltd.
Previously, he was a founder, president and CEO of Stellarton Energy Corporation.
Botterill joined Berens in July this year from Samson Canada Ltd., a private oil and gas company where he served as senior vice- president.
Chapman has been Berens’ VP of finance and CFO since June. Previously, he was vice- president of finance of Stellarton.
