Marc Levy is the new president and CEO of Vancouver-based Consolidated Norsemont Ventures Ltd.
He replaces Paul Gill, who continues with the company as corporate secretary and a board director.
Tournigan Gold Corp. has added James Walchuck to the management team as vice-president of mining. Walchuck was most recently the manager mining for Barrick at the Bulyanhulu gold mine in Tanzania.
Flight Centre North America has appointed Justin Michael to the post of chief financial officer (business services and product). He will be based in Vancouver. Michael joined Flight Centre seven years ago.
Flight Centre is a Vancouver-based retailer of travel products and services for the leisure and corporate markets with locations in Victoria, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Los Angeles and Chicago.
The Business Council of British Columbia has elected its new executive.
At the Vancouver-based organization’s recent 38th annual general meeting, members chose Rusty Goepel as senior vice-president and Raymond James as chair.

* Doug Whitehead (president and CEO, Finning International Inc.) Outgoing chairman Michael Audain (CEO, Polygon Homes Ltd.) will remain on the committee as immediate past-chair.
Vancouver-based Truax Ventures Corp. (TXV-TSXV) has named Mark Brown as CEO.
As well, Winnie Wong was named chief financial officer.
Brown is a principal of Pacific Opportunity Capital Ltd., a financial management and investment group.
Wong manages the financial administration team at Pacific Opportunity Capital, where she started in July 2001.
