Canaccord Capital Inc. (TSX:CCI) has named Brad Kotush as its new chief financial officer. He replaces the retiring Dennis Burdett.

Kotush has served as CFO of the company's European operations and vice-president for finance at Canaccord Capital Canada.

With its head office in Vancouver, Canaccord is an independent full-service investment dealer.

Geoscience BC has appointed Lyn Anglin to the positions of president and CEO of the organization. Anglin was formerly director of the Geological Survey of Canada's Pacific division in Vancouver.

Geoscience BC is a not-for-profit NGO based in Vancouver, formed to invest in research and data collection for mineral and energy exploration in the province, in particular the forest-dependent areas affected by the mountain pine beetle.

MetroBridge Networks Corp. is welcoming a new member to its management team.

The firm says Christopher Morris brings extensive experience in the tech sector to his position as chief financial officer, including a recent stint as CEO of Transit Television Network in Orlando, Fla.

Vancouver-based MetroBridge is a privately held company that delivers broadband wireless access through a microwave network.

Benchmark Energy Corp. (TSXV:BEE) has hired David Harrison as its new president. He replaces Jean-Claude Boubée, who will remain as a company director.

The company says Harrison has focused on corporate governance and finance with previous firms.

Red Back Mining Inc. (TSX:RBI) has appointed Lukas Lundin as chairman of the board of directors and named a new vice-president for exploration.

Hugh Stuart, the new VP, joined Red Back in October 2003 as exploration manager in Ghana.

Vancouver-based Red Back holds a 90-per-cent interest in the Chirano gold mine in Ghana.

Adriana Resources Inc. (TSXV:ADI) has added Anthony Kovacs to its technical team as exploration manager. Kovacs recently worked with Anglo American as project geophysicist.

Rowe brings more than 35 years of involvement in the horse-racing industry, most recently as a consultant on new racetrack projects and redesigns. Henley comes from Xentel DM Inc.
