Ian White has been named president and chief executive officer of the Canadian Wheat Board for three years starting March 31. White has served as a senior executive at a number of agribusiness companies in Canada, the United States and Australia. He was most recently managing director and CEO of Queensland Sugar Ltd. The wheat board has its head office in Winnipeg.

Exchange Industrial Income Fund (TSXV:EIF.UN) has hired Darwin Sparrow as VP and COO of manufacturing. Sparrow has spent the last decade and a half at Western Reman. With the recent acquisition of Stainless Fabrication Inc. in Springfield, Mo., EIF now owns four separate niche manufacturing companies and the manufacturing segment now makes up more than half of the fund's subsidiary operations. EIIF is based in Winnipeg.

PrimeWest Mortgage Investment Corp. has appointed Gordon Campbell as vice-president. He has more than 30 years' experience in the lending and real estate industries. PrimeWest is based in Saskatoon. It has raised more than $7.2 million in capital and has 270 shareholders across Western Canada and Ontario.
