Alternative Fuel Systems Inc.’s president and CEO since January of this year has resigned his executive and board positions. The company said John Webb is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

Board member Jim Perry is filling those seats effective immediately.

Perry has executive and board experience with several alternative energy and energy service companies in Canada. Most recently, he was president, CEO and director of Global Thermoelectric.

Webb continues as chairman of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.

Kevin Fleury has joined zed.i solutions inc. in Calgary as vice-president, business development.

Fleury brings more than 25 years of business experience in the oil and gas services sector. Prior to joining the company, he was president of Syndicated Technologies Ltd.

zed.i (ZED-TSX) provides energy producers with gaswell-monitoring technologies.

James Tingley has taken the helm as the new general manager at the Delta Lodge at Kananaskis. He replaces Dale Dyck, who is assuming the reins at the Delta Victoria Ocean Point Resort and Spa.

Tingley comes from the Delta Prince Edward in P.E.I., where he was co-chair for the Tourism Marketing Authority and a board member for the Tourism Industry Association of P.E.I.

RedTail Landing Golf Club has appointed Chad Rumpel, CPGA, as its head professional and clubhouse manager.

Rumpel has held his Class A Head Professional status since 1998. In his new role, he will develop a complete range of golf programs for all levels of players, oversee the food and beverage functions and oversee facility tournaments and events.

The RedTail Landing Golf Club, located at the entrance of the Edmonton International Airport, opens next spring.

Two WellPoint Systems Inc. officers have switched executive seats. Frank Stanford is now the chief executive officer and Glen Murphy is now the president. WellPoint says the title changes have been made to better reflect their duties.

WellPoint Systems (WPS-TSX Venture) is a fast-growing oil and gas software company with products and services for the midstream and upstream sectors of the industry.
