Murray Sigler is stepping down as president and CEO of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce this summer.
Sigler said he plans to pursue new professional and business opportunities.
The executive committee of the chamber board has begun its search for his replacement. Sigler will stay on in his executive positions until a replacement is found.

The Brick Group Income Fund says Ron Tweddle has resigned as chief financial officer of The Brick GP Ltd., the big retailer of furniture and appliances.
Richard (Dick) Innes, senior vice-president and treasurer of The Brick GP will serve as interim CFO, the Edmonton-based fund (TSX:BRK.UN) said.
CEO Kim Yost said Tweddle has decided to return to the West Coast to pursue other interests.
Michelle Belland has been appointed chief operating officer at Touchmark at Wedgewood. In this role, she will oversee all aspects of the adult community.
Prior to joining Touchmark, Belland was the vice-president and general manager of Videon Cablesystems Alberta Inc. and Videotron Communications Ltd.
Located in Edmonton, Touchmark at Wedgewood provides resort-style housing and a range of services for active adults, including independent and assisted living. (See story Page 25.)
Calgary-based Pengrowth Corp. has named Chris Webster as its new chief financial officer.
The company, which administrates the Pengrowth Energy Trust, said Webster has been an executive and active member of Pengrowth since 2000, including his appointment as treasurer in 2001.
Alliance Pipeline Ltd. says Murray Birch, the company's interim president since December 2004, has been appointed president and chief executive officer.
