Derek Tsang, a chemical technologist from Edmonton, was elected as the 36th president of the Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET). Tsang has served on ASET's council for a total of seven years.

Also elected to ASET's council were first vice-president Larry Stone and second vice-president Roy Clark.

ASET is a non-profit organization that issues professional credentials to applied science, information and engineering technicians and technologists in Alberta and the Territories.

Tenergy Ltd. (TSX:TGY) has had a change of personnel in its C-suite in the wake of a takeover by FRQ Acquisition Corp.

Jan Alston, Bruce Murray and William Osler have resigned as directors of Tenergy and as chief executive officer, president and secretary, respectively.

Harvey Klingensmith is Tenergy's new president and Randy Litun its vice-president of engineering and business development.

Tenergy was formed in November 2005 when Purcell Energy was reorganized into two natural gas-focused junior energy companies.

Genoil Inc. (TSXV:GNO) has hired management consultant James Runyan as senior VP of engineering and operations. The company says Runyan comes with engineering, procurement and construction experience.

Genoil is a technology development company serving the oil and gas industry. Its corporate office is in Calgary

Southern Pacific Resource Corp. (TSXV:STP) has made some management changes.

Tim Henneberry, Casey Langbroek and Laara Shaffer have resigned as directors and officers of Southern Pacific. Bob Goods and Dave Antony have joined the company as CEO and CFO, respectively, as well as its board of directors, while Trevor Wong-Chor has been appointed corporate secretary.

Most recently, Goods was the chief operating officer for the petroleum division of the United Farmers of Alberta. Dave Antony is CEO of Transco Resources Corp. and president of March Resources Corp.

Shift Networks Inc. (TSXV:SHF) has hired Erik Lagerway as chief technology officer. The company says Lagerway brings expertise in session initiation protocol-based technologies, which are the core of next-generation Internet protocol (IP) communication services.

Based in Calgary, Shift Networks provides IP communications services for small to medium-sized businesses.

Celero Solutions Inc. has appointed Dan Delaloye as the company's CEO, based in Celero's Calgary offices.

Delaloye was previously president and managing partner of OPEN Dimensions Inc.

Celero, a technology company formed in 2003 by five prairie co-operatives, delivers financial IT services to Prairie credit unions, its owner organizations and other clients.

Laird Electric Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Churchill Corp. (TSX:CUQ), will soon have a new president.

Blair Bannerholt has been Laird's chief operations officer for the past two years. He replaces retiring president George Schneider on April 30.

Churchill provides building construction, industrial construction and maintenance services throughout Western Canada. It is headquartered in Edmonton.

High Plains Energy Inc. (TSXV:HYE) has appointed Daryl Cook as interim CEO. His most recent position was as VP of operations for Enerplus Resources Fund.

High Plains says the company is currently conducting a full internal review of its oil and gas operations under Cook's guidance.

High Plains is a junior natural resource company based in Calgary.

Evelyn Broere has resigned her position as CFO of Canada's Pizza Delivery Corp. to pursue other interests. The company, formerly known as Comac Food Group Inc., has launched a search for her replacement.

Based in Calgary, CPD (TSXV:CPZ) has more than 250 franchise and corporate stores operating across Canada under the Domino's Pizza brand.

As part of their previously announced business combination, Mullen Group Income Fund (TSX:MTL.UN) and Producers Oilfield Services Inc. (TSX/POS) have named the senior management team for the new public company that will hold the assets of Mullen and Producers associated with the Far North.

Joining Ric Peterson, who will act as chairman and CEO of the new company, expected to be named Horizon North Logistics Inc., will be Rob Hunt as president and Bob German as VP of finance and CFO.

Hunt recently retired from a major drilling contractor, where he held the position of senior VP. German joined Producers on Jan. 1 in the role of VP of finance and CFO.

Based in Aldersyde, Mullen Group is a transportation and service company providing management and financial expertise, technology and systems support to subsidiary companies.

Producers provides specialized oilfield transportation services.
