That’s what’s in store for the high-tech crowd when the Computer & Technology Showcase takes Calgary by storm Oct. 29-30 with the largest information technology extravaganza in Western Canada at the Roundup Centre on the Calgary Stampede grounds.

For the eighth consecutive year, the Computer & Technology Showcase is set to deliver the solutions and services to further the cause of IT in the Calgary community. The showcase, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, will feature some of the world’s leading IT companies working in conjunction with their resellers and representatives to ensure that Calgary remains on the cutting edge of the technology spectrum.

The event has become a high-tech hit on the Calgary scene and a mainstay on the calendars of IT executives and corporate decision makers. International manufacturers as well as local and regional resellers will be in attendance to keep attendees current on the latest in high-tech advances.

“The essential core of this event is that it showcases companies exhibiting their latest and greatest services and solutions for the IT audience,” says Brad Lambert, executive director of Event Management Services, which is staging the event. “Our mission is to create an opportunity that facilitates profit and growth for vendors and a content-rich environment for attendees.”

There will be over 40 on-floor educational seminars as well as 30 off-floor conference tracks. This year’s special events are the Microsoft Solutions Pavilion, featuring Microsoft’s latest solutions, the SAIT ICT Security Breakfast, and the Security Solutions Pavilion, where industry leaders will discuss today’s and tomorrow’s threats to IT infrastructure.
