Cott Corp. (TSX:BCB; NYSE:COT) has appointed Brent Willis as president, CEO and a director.

He replaces John Sheppard, who the company says has left to pursue new opportunities.

Most recently, Willis was zone president for InBev Asia Pacific.

Cott is a brand-beverage supplier whose principal markets are the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom and Mexico. Its corporate office is in Toronto.

COO Peter Kukielski is leaving Falconbridge Ltd. (TSX:FAL.LV; NYSE:FAL), to be replaced immediately by Ian Pearce.

Pearce joined Falconbridge in August 2003 as senior VP of projects and engineering. Kukielski, who is leaving the company July 1, will become the COO at Teck Cominco.

Falconbridge is a copper and nickel company with investments in fully integrated zinc and aluminum assets. Its corporate office is in Toronto.

Arius Research Inc. (TSXV:ARI) has named Catherine Auld as interim CFO. She will head ARIUS's search for a permanent CFO.

Auld is currently CFO of NeuroMedix Inc. and AtheroMedix Inc., and has been a financial consultant to ARIUS for several months.

Based in Toronto, ARIUS is a biotech company focused on cancer therapies.

Patheon Inc. (TSX:PTI) says that its CEO, Robert Tedford, has decided to retire to pursue personal interests.

A selection committee is actively engaged in finding a new CEO. In the meantime, the office of the CEO will consist of board chairman Peter Green, president and COO Nick DiPietro and Douglas L. Ludwig, CFO and executive VP.

Tedford joined Patheon as CFO in 1992 and became CEO in 1996.

Patheon provides drug development and manufacturing services to the international pharmaceutical industry. Its head office is in Mississauga.

Patrick Scott has been named executive VP and COO of Ivernia Inc., and will work at the company's office in Perth, Australia.

Scott, a mining engineer, has almost 30 years of international experience in the industry.

Stelco Inc. (TSX:STE) says that William Vaughan is retiring as CFO after a 38-year career with Stelco.

Stelco is one of Canada's largest steel companies. Its head office is in Hamilton.

Barsky joins with almost 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as executive director of Scotiabank private equity investments.

Toronto-based iSequent is a Canadian financial services software company founded in 2005.

Barb Mason has been appointed to the position of executive vice-president of wealth management at Scotiabank (TSX:BNS) while Jane Rowe has been appointed executive VP of domestic personal lending and insurance, and president and CEO of Scotia Mortgage Corp.

Mason joined Scotiabank in 1982 and was appointed senior VP of retail marketing in 1995.

Rowe joined Scotiabank in 1987. She is president and CEO of Roynat Capital, a member of the Scotiabank Group.

Virgin Metals Inc. has named Christopher Davie as its president and CEO.

Davie, a mining and metallurgical engineer with more than 35 years of industry experience, was most recently president and CEO of Queenstake Resources.

Al Javed has been appointed chief technology officer at TenXc Wireless Inc. and John Litva as chief scientist.

Javed brings more than 30 years of wireless experience to the company, most notably at Nortel. Litva is a co-founder of TenXc Wireless.

TenXc Wireless develops radio frequency solutions for mobile wireless networks and their evolution to broadband. Its head office is in Ottawa.

Lakeport Brewing Income Fund (TSX:TFR.UN) has appointed George Croft to the additional position of COO. He was appointed Lakeport's president in May 2005 and will continue in that job.

Lakeport is a brewery focused on beer for the Ontario take-home market. Its head office is in Hamilton.

Biovail Corp. (TSX:BVF) has named Peter Silverstone senior VP of medical and scientific affairs. Silverstone joins Biovail from Global IQ. He is also a professor in the faculty of medicine at the University of Alberta.

Blake Goldring, president and CEO, will become chairman and CEO.

Randy Ambrosie will become president of AGF Funds Inc., the investment management subsidiary of AGF Management.
