Kathy Kropf has been named director of Schenker Canada Ltd.’s new courier division.
Kropf brings many years of logistics and transport expertise, most recently as managing director of Canadian worldwide sales for FedEx Canada.
Schenker Canada has a coast-to-coast network and a portfolio of supply chain services. Part of an international company, its Canadian office is in Mississauga.

Fairfax Financial Holdings Ltd. (TSX:FFH) says that Douglas Libby will replace the retiring Nikolas Antonopoulos as president and CEO of its Crum & Forster Holdings subsidiary, and chair and CEO of its operating subsidiaries. Antonopoulos will continue as a consultant for Fairfax on strategic matters.
Libby has been chief executive of C&F’s Seneca Insurance Co. subsidiary. Joseph Braunstein Jr., president of C&F’s operating subsidiaries other than Seneca, will become vice-chair of C&F Holdings and COO of its operating subsidiaries.

Chipworks has promoted Mike Thumm to VP of patent intelligence and Gary Tomkins to VP of technical intelligence.
Thumm was most recently VP and CFO. Tomkins previously led Chipworks’ core capabilities team.
