Tango Energy Inc. (TSXV:TEI) has made changes to its management team: Jeremy Newton has been promoted to president and COO; Geoff Beatson to VP of engineering and operations; and Allan Phillips to VP of exploration. Beatson has been employed by Tango since April 2008. Phillips has been employed by Tango since August 2008. Newton has been with Calgary-based Tango since August 2006, most recently as VP of land and exploration. Tango says it maintains a positive working capital position while looking for opportunities in the oil and gas industry.

Mark Trevisiol has resigned as a director and COO of Liberty Mines Inc. (TSX:LBE). The resignation comes as the company is working to complete a new financing agreement that will provide funds to settle lien claims against two of its properties. Edmonton-based Liberty is focused on mining properties in Ontario. Its operations are currently under care and maintenance due to low commodity prices.

Gemini Corp. (TSXV:GKX) has appointed Glen Roberts as VP of business development. Roberts brings 25 years in various roles within exploration and production companies through to EPCM and other service providers in the oil and gas industry. Gemini provides engineered solutions and field services to clients in the energy, environmental and industrial sectors. It is based in Calgary.

Ceres Capital Corp. (TSXV:SRS.P) has engaged Don Williams as VP of exploration for its wholly owned subsidiary, Reliable Energy Ltd. Williams, P.Geo., brings more than 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, most recently as VP of Propel Energy. Reliable is developing the Bakken and Three Forks producing reserves. Ceres' head office is in Calgary.

Acceleware Corp. (TSXV:AXE) has appointed Geoff Clark as its new CFO. Clark was most recently CFO of Guest-Tek Interactive Entertainment Ltd. Acceleware markets a software acceleration platform. Its head office is in Calgary.

ARC Energy Trust (TSX: AET.UN) has promoted Myron Stadnyk to president and COO, while John Dielwart remains CEO. Stadnyk joined the trust in 1997 and became COO in 2005. Adding the president's role to his responsibilities is part of ARC's long-term succession planning, the company noted. Based in Calgary, ARC is one of Canada's largest conventional oil and gas royalty trusts.

Evoco Inc. says CEO John Eddy is retiring. This follows the 2008 promotion of Alice Reimer to president. Eddy will continue as CFO for a six-month transition period and remain a director. Established in 1999 in Calgary, Evoco provides program management software for real estate owners and developers.

Hugh Ross is replacing Curtis Hartzler as president and CEO of Regal Energy Ltd. (TSXV:REG) and becomes a director. Ross was a director, president and CEO of Gentry Resources Ltd. until it was acquired by Crew Energy in 2008. Joining him in Regal's management suite are Ketan Panchmatia (formerly Gentry's VP of finance and CFO) as VP of finance and CFO, and Greg Groten (formerly Gentry's VP of exploration) as VP of exploration. Based in Calgary, Regal is focused on crude oil and natural gas in Western Canada.

Bronco Energy Ltd. (TSX:BCF) has announced the resignation of company founder Brian Alford as president and CEO. Alford will continue as a member of the board. Heavy-oil industry veteran Peter Pelensky takes over as interim president. Based in Calgary, Bronco is developing a heavy-oil asset base.

Cobalt Energy Ltd. (TSXV:CB.A, CB.B) says Paul McMillan, VP exploration, and Randy Doetzel, VP operations, have resigned. The company gave no further information. Cobalt is engaged in the exploration, development, and production of conventional crude oil and natural gas reserves in Western Canada.

Geomatics Data Management (GDM) has appointed Brian Hall as VP. Previously, Hall was VP of business development and strategy, North America for IHS Energy. GDM provides pipeline, facility and roadinfrastructure data for the energy industry in Canada. Its head office is in Calgary.
