Calvalley Petroleum Inc. (TSX:CVI.A), a Calgary oil and gas exploration and production company, has made some appointments to its management team at its Calgary base. Bill Cummins becomes chief financial officer. For the past six years he was the vice-president of corporate finance of a brokerage firm. Cameron Dow, who has been the acting CFO for Calvalley since November 2005, will continue to provide financial services to the company. Grant Harms becomes VP of engineering and operations. He brings 26 years of experience in the energy industry, most recently as co-founder, COO and VP of production for Los Altares Resources Ltd. Terry McCoy becomes VP of exploration. McCoy brings more than three decades of energy experience to Calvalley, which is junior international oil and gas company focused on Yemen.

Oilexco Incorporated (TSX:OIL) has made several changes to its senior roster. Chief operating officer Gerry Roe has retired from that position, but will continue to be a director of Oilexco North Sea Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Oilexco Inc, and will also act as a consultant to the company. Michael Cairns has resigned from his position as vice-president of corporate development, but will continue to consult until the end of 2007. Rod Christensen has been appointed senior VP of exploration and development, and David Marshall has been appointed senior VP of operations and general manager of Oilexco North Sea Ltd. Bob Chenery has been appointed VP of corporate development, and Kim Galavan has been appointed VP of U.K. administration. The position of COO remains vacant with the responsibilities being shared among chief executive officer Arthur Millholland, Christensen and Marshall. Based in Calgary, Oilexco is an oil and gas exploration and production company active in the United Kingdom through its subsidiary.

Big Rock Brewery Income Trust (TSX:BR.UN) has promoted Colleen McLeod to CFO at Big Rock Brewery following the recent resignation of Timothy Duffin, who will leave the company at the end of 2007. McLeod, a CMA, has been with Big Rock since June 2006. Her first order of business will be to implement the company's income trust reorganization, approved by unitholders on Oct. 26. Headquartered in Calgary, Big Rock Brewery produces craft beers.

BlackWatch Energy Services Trust (TSX:BWT.UN) has hired a new CFO as Clarke Inc. (TSX:CKI) announced it has upped its stake to 10.27 per cent in the oilfield services firm. Wiley Auch becomes VP of finance and CFO, replacing Paul Partlo who left BlackWatch for personal reasons earlier this month. The company recently sold its pipeline construction division to focus on its core businesses and bring down bank debt. Black Watch's headquarters are in Calgary.

Murray Montgomery has accepted the positions of VP of finance and CFO with Poplar Point Energy Inc. of Calgary. His starting date is expected to be in December. Montgomery will replace Bettina Pierre-Gilles, who has resigned from the board and as treasurer.

Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd. (TSX:IDL) says it is making a change in the company's executive suite to meet growing operational demands. Darryl Stein will step down as CEO effective Dec. 31. He will retain the position of president. While the board conducts a search for a new CEO, Karim Teja, formerly CFO and COO for IDC, will rejoin the company on a short-term basis to assist during the transition period. Calgary-based IDC is a medical technology company focused on digital radiography.

Picomole Instruments Inc. has added Holly Riopel as senior VP of corporate affairs. She comes with more than 10 years of experience in the biotech and clinical diagnostics sector, most recently as director of communications with BioMS Medical Corp. Picomole is a Canadian-controlled private corporation founded in 2005 that specializes in ultra-sensitive gas analysis technologies. It is based in Edmonton.

AeroMechanical Services Ltd. (CDNX:AMA) says COO Gino Ferronato is resigning to pursue personal interests. AeroMechanical has contracted the services of John Brom, former VP of maintenance and engineering for Aloha Airlines, to serve as interim COO. AeroMechanical provides technologies and services designed to reduce costs and improve efficiencies in the airline industry. Its head office is in Calgary.

Anthony Marino has been promoted to president and COO of Baytex Energy Trust (TSX:BTE.UN, NYSE:BTE). Marino joined the Calgary company in November 2004 as COO.

In other company moves, Timothy Morris becomes VP of U.S. business development. He will be based in Baytex's new Denver office. Morris comes with 30 years of experience in the U.S. oil and gas industry. Baytex is a conventional oil and gas income trust focused on maintaining its production and asset base through internal property development.

Torrential Energy Ltd. (TSXV:TNL) has appointed Tee Ong to the position of VP of engineering and COO. Ong brings 21 years of oil and gas experience to Torrential, most recently with Bonavista Energy Trust where he served as chief reservoir adviser. Torrential is an emerging Calgary-based oil and natural gas exploration and development company.

Deborah Duska, previously an associate with the IvyGate Design Bureau, has joined TiltBeverages Group as a partner, responsible for bottle design, regulatory and investor relations. Privately held TBG expects to launch its "character" drinks in early 2008 in Western Canada.
