Penn West Energy Trust (TSX:PWT.UN) has made a number of corporate appointments to Penn West Petroleum Ltd. (PWP), administrator of the trust.
William Andrew becomes president and CEO. He has been the president of PWP since 1995.
David Middleton becomes executive VP and chief operating officer. He has been with PWP since 1999, most recently as senior VP of production.
Thane Jensen becomes senior VP of exploration. He joined PWP in 1998 and was most recently VP of engineering.
Todd Takeyasu becomes VP of finance. He has been with Penn West since 1994, most recently as treasurer.
William Tang Kong becomes VP of corporate development. He has been with PWP since 1995.
Kristian Tange becomes VP of business development. He joined Penn West in 1995 where he was most recently manager of marketing.
Anne Thomson, who has been with PWP for five years, becomes VP of exploration and Gregg Gegunde becomes VP of development. Eric Obreiter becomes VP of production.

Mark Roth is joining Stealth Ventures Ltd. of Calgary as CFO. He comes with years of experience in finance and banking, most recently with RBC in oil and gas and operations.

Call Genie Inc. (TSXV: GNE) has appointed a new chief executive officer.
Michael Durance joins the company on June 27. Most recently, he was VP and general manager at Toshiba America Information Systems. He replaces Neil Frizzell, who becomes executive chairman.
Calgary-based Call Genie (TSXV:GNE) is a provider of enhanced voice directory services.
Firelight Corp. (TSXV: FRL) has given Norman Hope, the vice-president, to the additional position of chief financial officer.
Hope replaces Thomas Concannon, who will continue to serve as the president and secretary.
Edmonton-based Firelight is a communication, marketing and media company that specializes in producing instructional sports videos.
Royal Host Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX:RYL.UN, RYL.DB, RYL.DB.A) has named Wayne King as its new chief financial officer. He was most recently with BA Energy Inc.
Headquartered in Calgary, Royal Host owns 37 hotels and provides hotel and resort management services.
