Genoil Inc. (TSXV:GNO) has announced the return of Thomas Bugg as president. The Calgary company also announced without elaboration that James Runyan, formerly chief operating officer and executive vice-president, "has ceased all duties with the corporation.”

Bugg was a founder of Ensign Drilling and then started Beau Canada Exploration, which before it was taken over in 2000 took a majority interest in Genoil. He continued managing Genoil's operations until the end of 2005 and stayed on as a consultant for a year after that. Genoil is an engineering company that develops hydrocarbon, oil and water separation, and marine technologies.

Stem Cell Therapeutics Corp. (TSXV:SSS) has appointed Thomas Franck as VP of commercial planning. Franck was the founder and principal of Amelia Island Consulting.

Stem Cell Therapeutics is a Calgary biotech company focused on drug-based therapies for neurological ailments.

Dynetek Industries Ltd. (TSX:DNK) has undergone a management reorganization. Karen Minton will be stepping down as VP of finance and CFO of Dynetek on June 13. In a further change, Ulrich Imhof, VP of engineering, is no longer with the firm. Manfred Bartram has been appointed VP of production. Dynetek markets advanced fuel storage and refueling systems for compressed natural gas and compressed hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles. The company is headquartered in Calgary.

EnQuest Energy Services Corp. (TSXV:ENQ) has accepted the resignation of Rod MacDonald as the president of Enquest's Canadian operations. Tom Lewis resigns as CFO effective June 30. The EnQuest group provides specialized resources to the energy industry in the drilling and completions, construction, pipeline, and midstream sectors. Its head office is in Red Deer.

Mahalo Energy Ltd. (TSX:CBM) has hired a veteran U.S. shale gas professional to its management team. Patrick Ryan, who becomes senior VP for exploration and GM, will be based in the Tulsa, Okla., office. He previously worked with Newfield Exploration. Mahalo is a junior company that, subsequent to the sale of its Canadian resource assets, will focus on CBM and shale gas in the United States. Its head office is in Calgary.

WellPoint Systems Inc. (WPS:TSXV) has named Richard Slack to the newly created role of COO. Slack is the president and CEO of recently acquired Bolo Systems, Inc. Former WellPoint president Tom Mawhinney has left the company to become CEO at Integrado Inc., and will be joined by three other former WellPoint employees. WellPoint has entered into a pact with Integrado for sales and support services for WellPoint's software in Central and South America and the Caribbean. Calgary-based WellPoint's software and related services manage critical operations within the energy industry.

Detector Exploration Ltd. (TSXV:DEX) has named Gregory Marr as CFO on a part-time basis. He replaces Edward James, a director and shareholder who has no formal accounting training. Marr, a CA, comes with more than 25 years of experience in various capacities for numerous corporations. Detector is an oil and gas corporation with its head office in Calgary.
