Victor Roskey, senior vice-president and chief financial officer of Enterra Energy Corp., the administrator of Enterra Energy Trust (TSX:ENT.UN, NYSE:ENT), has given notice that he intends to leave Enterra this month. Enterra Energy Trust is a conventional oil and gas trust based in Calgary.

Alberta Oilsands Inc. (TSXV: AOS) has appointed Greg Hu as VP of exploration. Hu was the founder and president of his own oilsands consulting company. AOS is a junior oilsands company based in Calgary.

North American Energy Partners Inc. (TSX:NOA, NYSE:NOA) has promoted Miles Safranovich to VP of operations. He joined NAEP in December 2004 and was most recently VP of business development and estimating. Filling the latter role will be Bernie Robert. He has spent more than nine years at NAEP in various roles, most recently as director of business development. NAEP provides mining and construction services to large oil, natural gas and resource companies, with a principal focus on the oilsands. Its head office is in Acheson, Alta.

Dan Gerritsen has joined RepeatSeat Ltd. (TSXV: RPS) in the roles of VP of finance and CFO. Most recently he served as CFO of Dynavar Corp. Prior to joining Pacific Rodera, Hornett held the position of operations manager at Mission Oil & Gas Inc. Roger Harman, chief financial officer. Harman is a CMA with more than 30 years of financial and accounting experience in the oil and gas industry. Andrew Arthur, vice-president of exploration. Arthur previously was a senior geologist with Mission Oil & Gas Inc. Doug Crawford, VP of production. Crawford previously held the position of VP of production at Mission Oil & Gas Inc. Gerry Talbot, VP of land. Talbot comes with more than 30 years of land acquisitions experience in the Canadian oil and gas industry. David Williams has relinquished the office of president to become senior VP of corporate development and investor relations. Pacific Rodera is an acquisition-focused oil and natural gas company. David Savage has joined First Calgary Petroleums Ltd. (TSX: FCP) as interim director of corporate finance following the decision by John van der Welle to step down as finance director and CFO. The latter remains on the board as a non-executive director. Savage was formerly executive VP and global head of corporate finance with Commerzbank AG. First Calgary Petroleums Ltd. is an oil and gas exploration company focused on Algeria. Its head office is in Calgary.

Flint Energy Services Ltd. (TSX: FES) has promoted Shawn Carry to VP of Transco Energy Services Ltd., Flint's oilfield transportation operating segment. Carry came to Flint with the Transco acquisition in December 2006. Tim O'Brien, senior VP of transportation for tubular management and manufacturing, resigns effective Oct. 31. Flint provides a range of integrated products and services for the oil and gas industry. Its head office is in Calgary.

Roger Jewett has left Rare Method Interactive Corp. (TSXV:RAM) to pursue other opportunities. The posts of president and CFO will be assumed in the interim by Evan Spiropoulos, chairman of the board of directors. Jewett has agreed to assist during the transitional period. Based in Calgary, Rare Method offers a range of interactive marketing services. It also has an office in Salt Lake City.

High Arctic Energy Services Inc. (TSX:HWO) says it has reorganized its financial team and is searching for a full-time CFO. Until then, the CFO duties will be undertaken by Peter Julien, VP of finance, with the assistance of Dennis Sykora, VP of legal and corporate development, and the ongoing advisory services of Randy Henderson, previously the interim CFO. Henderson assisted High Arctic Energy Services Trust in its two equity placements earlier this year and its reorganization into corporate form as High Arctic Energy Services Inc. The corporation, through its subsidiaries, is a global provider of specialized oilfield equipment and services. It is based in Red Deer.

Calgary Economic Development (CED) has named John Hankins as its new vice-president of investment and trade development. Hankins had been a contributor to and supporter of the organization through his volunteer work with CED's sister-cities initiative. He was most recently the director of business development at Flextronics. CED is an economic development agency marketing the Calgary region across Canada and around the world.

Pearl Exploration and Production Ltd. (TSXV: PXX) has appointed Randy Neely as CFO. Neely is joining Pearl after recently resigning from Trident Exploration Corp. where he led a team of accounting, finance and IT professionals. Neely replaces Arlene Weatherdon, who has left to pursue other business opportunities. Pearl is establishing a North American portfolio of oil and gas projects with an emphasis on large resource opportunities. Its head office is in Calgary.

He remains chairman of the board. Ric Charron moves to the new position of senior VP of corporate development for Xtreme Coil as a step in his transition to retirement in July 2008. He will remain a director. Rod Uchytil becomes chief operating officer of Coil-X Joint Venture, Xtreme Coil's partnership with Shell Technology Ventures Fund 1 B.V., and COO of Coil-X Drilling. Charron comes with 20 years of global industry experience. Calgary-based Xtreme Coil develops technology and designs to build drilling rigs.
