Jim Lincoln has joined the senior management team of Fronteer Development Group as vice-president of operations. Lincoln previously was VP of operations with Jinshan Gold Mines.

Vancouver-based Fronteer is a discovery-stage exploration company focused on strategic and precious metals.

Albert Yap has resigned as Taiga Building Products Ltd.'s VP of finance and support services due to extenuating personal circumstances. The company says it is looking for a successor.

Burnaby-based Taiga distributes building products through 15 centres across Canada and one in California.

Intrawest Corp. has appointed money manager Alex Wasilov as the ski resort operator's new president and COO. Previously, Wasilov was president of Hirtle, Callaghan and Co. He has been a member of Intrawest's board of directors since February 2005.

Vancouver-based Intrawest offers destination resorts and adventure travel, including Whistler Blackcomb.
