Pearl Exploration and Production Ltd. (TSXV:PXX) says that as of Feb. 1, its co-founders will swap roles in the company.
Keith Hill will assume the roles of president and chief executive officer, stepping down as chairman. Gary Guidry will resign as president and CEO, and become chairman of the board.
The changes are to facilitate Guidry's full-time focus on his roles as president and CEO of Tanganyika Oil.
Calgary-based Pearl has a North American portfolio of oil and gas projects.
BlueGrouse Seismic Solutions Ltd. (TSXV:BGH) has made three appointments: Lonn Hornsby to chief operating officer; Robert Oulton to vice-president of sales and marketing; and Jim Roycroft to controller.
Hornsby and Oulton have been with BlueGrouse for more than three years while Roycroft is a new hire.

Gemini Corp. (TSXV:GKX) has named Blair Harding its VP of field services and hired Pasquale Martino for the newly created position of VP of engineering.
Harding has been with Gemini for four years, most recently as manager of field services. Martino comes from a large engineering firm.
Based in Calgary, Gemini offers engineered solutions and field services to the energy, environmental and industrial sectors.
Hilda Kouvelis has replaced Chris Lloyd as CFO of TransAtlantic Petroleum Corp. (TSX:TNP.U). Kouvelis, a CPA, joined TransAtlantic as controller in 2005.
TransAtlantic is a Calgary-based oil and natural gas company with international operations.
Nexstar Energy Ltd. (TSXV:NXE.A, NXE.B) has promoted Steve Smith from manager of land to VP of land. He has also been appointed an officer of the corporation.

Winslow Resources Inc. (TSXV:WLR) has had a change of CFO.
Lesley Rathgeber replaces Ketan Panchmatia, who resigned to devote his full attention to existing obligations. He will remain in a supportive role at Winslow during the transitional period.
Rathgeber is a CA and CPA with 10 years of industry experience.
Winslow is a junior oil and gas company engaged in the exploration for and development of natural gas and oil reserves. Its corporate office is in Calgary.
Jura Energy Corp. (TSX:JEC) has hired Paul Rose as VP of finance and CFO.
Rose, a CA, was previously CFO of a TSX-listed resource service company.
Jura, which is based in Calgary, has interests in seven exploration and development projects through a wholly owned subsidiary.
Western Oil Sands Inc. (TSX:WTO) has appointed Joanne Alexander to the position of VP and general counsel. Alexander will also serve as corporate secretary.
Most recently, Alexander held the position of general manager, stakeholder engagement and regulatory affairs at ConocoPhillips Western Oil Sands Inc. is a resource development company whose primary asset is a 20-per-cent interest in the Athabasca Oil Sands Project. Its head office is in Calgary.
John Mattson has joined the management team of Horizon North Logistics Inc. (TSXV:HNL) as VP of marine services. Mattson was a member of Horizon's board of directors, from which he has tendered his resignation.
Most recently, Mattson has been consulting and advising major oil and gas and pipeline companies working in the Canadian and U.S. arctic.
Based in Calgary, Horizon North provides logistical support for northern resource and development projects.
TRLabs has a new VP of research. Rainer Iraschko, who previously worked with Telus, will be located at TRLabs Calgary.

North West Upgrading Inc., a Calgary-based, privately owned company building a heavy-oil upgrader in Sturgeon County, has appointed Alex Watson as VP of construction. Previously Watson was project manager with OPTI Canada Inc. for the Nexen Long Lake Project.
Artie Kos has assumed the role of president and CEO of Winalta Inc. Kos was previously chairman of the board. The company said it was decided a more active role for Kos would benefit Winalta's growth plans.
Layne Wilk, who had been interim president, has become VP.

David Hawkins has joined Enseco Energy Services Corp. as CFO. Before joining Enseco, Hawkins was the VP of finance and CFO of Total Energy Services Trust.
Enseco is an emerging supplier of energy-related services operating throughout the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, with corporate and sales offices located in Calgary.
Carolyn Pratt will sit in the president's chair at the Edmonton Real Estate Board for the 2007 term. She succeeds Madeline Sarafinchan.
Pratt has been a realtor since 1976, and was made a life member of EREB in 2003.
The EREB, founded in 1927, is a professional association of 3,100 brokers and associates in the Greater Edmonton Area.
AutoCanada Income Fund (TSX:ACQ.UN) has appointed Steve Rose as VP of corporate development, general counsel and secretary. Prior to joining AutoCanada, Rose was with DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc. for 14 years.
Through its 54 per cent interest in AutoCanada LP, the Edmonton-based fund operates 16 franchised automobile dealerships in six provinces.
