Finning International Inc. (TSX:FTT) says Wayne Bingham, the heavy-equipment dealer's executive VP and CFO, has resigned "for personal reasons."

While Vancouver-based Finning looks for a replacement, an executive finance team including CEO Doug Whitehead will carry out the CFO duties. Although his retirement date is approaching, Whitehead says he does not plan to leave before a new CFO is integrated into the company.

Finning International is one of the world's largest Caterpillar equipment dealers, with operations in Western Canada, Britain and South America.

John Jacobson is the new president and CEO of IP Applications Corp. (TSXV: IPX). He replaces interim CEO Neil McDonnell. Jacobson was previously president and CEO of Offshore Systems International Ltd.

Based in Vancouver, IP partners with companies that offer Internet protocol services, providing the applications, systems and support to run their business.

Mesa Uranium Corp. (TSXV:MZU) has appointed Gregory French as vice-president of exploration. French had been consulting for a wide range of clients since 1999.

Robert Bell is joining Pine Valley Mining Corp. (TSX:PVM, OTCBB:PVMCF) of Vancouver effective Feb. 27 as executive vice-president and COO. Bell comes from Luscar Ltd., where he served as VP of marketing.

Pine Valley (formerly Globaltex Industries Inc.) operates the Willow Creek Coal Project in B.C.

Peregrine Diamonds Ltd. (TSXV: PGD) of Vancouver has appointed a new CFO. Greg Shenton previously worked with the Ivanhoe Group of companies as a CFO.

Peregrine is a diamond exploration and development company.

EnWave Corp. has appointed Jennifer Thompson as its VP of corporate development.

Thompson's services will be provided through Tiber Investment Management Group Inc. The initial contract is for six months.

The company says Leonard Karr's appointment was prompted by its plans for increased activities this year. Karr had filled the role of project manager for the company since 2004.

Dynasty is a Vancouver junior resource company focused on acquiring, exploring and developing gold projects in China.

The Northern British Columbia Tourism Association has named a new CEO.

Tracy Calogheros takes over from Dawn-lisa Sethen, who is on maternity leave until September. Calogheros has been on NBCTA's board of directors for three years, serving as president for two of those years.

TrueStar Petroleum Corp. (TSXV:TPC) has hired a vice-president.

William Wright has more than 40 years of global experience in the oil and gas industry. The company says he has most recently focused on unconventional gas resources.

TrueStar Petroleum is an oil and gas exploration and development company with operations headquarters in Vancouver.

Welichem Biotech Inc. (TSXV: WBI), a biotech company developing drugs for autoimmune diseases and cancer, has made some management changes.

York Yingping Guo becomes CEO and a board member. Guo is president and CEO of Celestial Pharmaceuticals (Shenzhen) Ltd.

Concurrently, John Webster has resigned as managing director and CEO, but assumes the role of chief scientific officer overseeing the company's R&D.

Kim was previously Hansol's general manager for four years.

Prior to ZMS, Rowe was an innovation management consultant based in Silicon Valley.
