The Manitoba Rural Adaptation Council (MRAC) has hired Brandon native Terry Hayward as CEO.
Prior to joining MRAC, Hayward was executive director of the National Farm Products Council in Ottawa.
MRAC is a not-for-profit organization that provides funding for projects to advance the agriculture and agri-food industry in Manitoba.
Sean Gardner has been named vice-president and general manager of the Canadian business operations of Monsanto Canada. Gardner will also sit on Monsanto Co.'s North American leadership team.
He has lived in Winnipeg since 2005 where he has served as Monsanto Canada's trait and seed commercial lead for Western Canada.
Monsanto provides technology-based services and agricultural products. Its Canadian office is in Winnipeg.
