BCGold Corp. (TSXV: BCG) has a new president and chief executive officer. Brian Fowler is a founding director of BCGold and had been BCGold's vice-president since October 2006.

Assuming the position of VP of corporate development is Freeman Smith, who played a role in the listing of BCGold.

Andrew Brown will be joining BCGold as manager of exploration. Brown was most recently employed at Bema Gold Corp.

Sacha Fernandes has joined the company as manager of corporate communications. She was previously senior manager of customer marketing at Pivotal Corp.

Based in Vancouver, BCGold Corp. is a new junior mineral exploration company focused on British Columbia and Yukon.

Keith Bittner has resigned as chief financial officer of Macro Enterprises Inc. (TSXV:MCR). Brian Trypka, the current chief executive officer, has been appointed as interim CFO until a permanent successor is appointed.

Frank Miles, president and chief operating officer of the company, has been appointed as CEO.

Macro specializes in pipeline and facility construction and maintenance. Its head office is in Fort St. John.

Shuster, a petroleum engineer, brings more than 30 years of experience in management, engineering and business analysis.

Mary Batoff becomes vice-president legal, and secretary. She had been VP legal and secretary at a TSX-listed mining company since 2004.

Bob Tait becomes VP of investor relations. He had been president since 2005 of the Canadian Investor Relations Institute.

First Uranium completed its IPO in December. The Vancouver company is developing two uranium and gold projects in South Africa.

Victoria's Royal Roads University says Allan Cahoon, VP research and international for the University of Regina, will be the next president of Royal Roads University. Cahoon will take up his position at RRU on April 2, when he will also join the university's faculty of management as a professor.

Cahoon, who is currently interim president of the U of R, has been with that university since 2002.

RRU is a special-purpose university focused on applied and professional education, and distance education.

Lundin Mining Corp. (TSX:LUN) says Colin Benner is stepping aside as chief executive officer but will remain with the company as vice-chairman.

President and chief operating officer Karl-Axel Waplan will take the CEO title, while Joao Carrelo, currently in charge of operations in Portugal, becomes COO.

The company said Benner's decision to step aside was to consolidate its chief executives at Lundin's main operational office in Stockholm.
