New Gold is an intermediate gold-mining company formed by the merger of New Gold, Peak Gold Ltd. and Metallica Resources Inc. on July 8. Its head office is in Vancouver.
New Guinea Gold Corp. (TSXV: NGG) has named Paul Schultz as CFO, replacing Judith O'Quinn, who remains corporate secretary and a director. He joined NGG's parent company, Macmin Silver Ltd., in December 2005. Schulz, who works from NGG's office in Queensland, is also CFO for Macmin. New Guinea's Vancouver office provides the administrative and regulatory support for its TSXV listing.
Xerox Canada has promoted Rick Sellers to VP for British Columbia sales operations. This is a new position, as B.C. was previously bundled within the company's western operations. Prior to this appointment, Sellers was director of Xerox Canada's national sales management process. He is based in Vancouver. Xerox provides printing and copying products and software.

Great Panther Resources Ltd. (TSX:GPR) of Vancouver has named Sergio Rios-Martinez its VP of corporate relations. Most recently, he was the senior trade commissioner for Mexico in Vancouver. Great Panther is a primary silver producer in Mexico.
TrueStar Petroleum Corp. (TSXV:TPC) says Brett Cunningham has been chosen to fill the post of president of TrueStar International Ltd. Tournigan Energy Ltd. (TSXV:TVC) has hired Dusty Nicol as president, CEO and a director of the company, replacing Jim Walchuck. Nicol is an exploration geologist with more than 30 years of experience. Terence Ibbetson, co-founder and CEO of Con-Space Communications Ltd. (TSXV:CCB), has stepped aside from daily operations but remains a director. "After years of service he will now have more time for his family and personal life," co-founder and chairman James Swanson said in a statement.
