Granville Pacific Capital Corp. has appointed Hendrik Van Ryk, Jr. as CEO and Mark Kryger as president, positions previously held by Peter Chik. Van Ryk remains Granville's chief financial officer, and is also a director and secretary of Evergreen Cottages Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Granville.

Kryger has been retired for the last five years, but previously controlled Kryco Construction Ltd. of Smithers.

Based in Richmond, Granville is involved in the acquisition and operation of senior citizens' lodging and care facilities, and mental-health facilities

Heather Ranson has joined the University of Victoria's faculty of business as its hospitality management program co-ordinator.

Ranson brings more than 15 years of experience in service management and hospitality, with eight years at Tourism Victoria and seven years teaching service management and other tourism courses at Camosun College.

InNexus Biotechnology, Inc. (TSXV: IXS) has named Jeff Morhet as vice-president of operations.

Morhet will be responsible for leading product development and co-ordinating planning for clinical trials. Most recently, Morhet was VP and general manager for Zila, Inc.

Vancouver-based InNexus is developing therapeutic monoclonal antibodies using its SuperAntibody Technology Platform.

Gulf International Minerals Ltd. (TSX:GIM) has appointed Robin Merrifield as chief financial officer of the Vancouver-based company.

Merrifield is a chartered accountant with extensive international experience in the mining industry.

Gulf is a junior mining company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of gold and silver properties in the Republic of Tajikistan, and the acquisition and exploration of properties in B.C.

Vancouver-based Main- frame (TSX:MFE) produces computer animation for television and direct-to-home videos.

Engineering services company AMEC has selected Tim Watson to become president of AMEC's industrial and infrastructure division. Headquartered in Atlanta, Ga., Watson will lead AMEC's business pursuits in a number of industrial sectors.

Watson's successor is Bob Stanlake, who previously was AMEC vice-president of business development.

Sean Waller will become manager of business development for the Vancouver office.
