Four Seasons Hotels Inc. (TSX:FSH.SV; NYSE:FS) has promoted John Davison, a senior Four Seasons executive, to the position of chief financial officer. Davison replaces Douglas Ludwig, who is stepping down as CFO to take early retirement.
Davison joined Four Seasons in 2002 after a 14-year career with Imax Corp.
Headquartered in Toronto, Four Seasons has 65 hotels in 29 countries.
Hydrogenics Corp. (TSX:HYG, NASDAQ:HYGS) has appointed Salil Munjal as corporate development VP and general counsel. Munjal was previously COO of Leitch Technology Corp.
Hydrogenics is involved in commercializing hydrogen and fuel-cell products. Its headquarters are in Mississauga.
BFI Canada Income Fund, a specialist in waste collection and recycling, says it has filled two executive positions.
Joseph Quarin, who was chief financial officer, is the new Canadian chief operating officer, responsible for the fund's operations in Canada, which include non-hazardous solid waste collection, recycling, landfill and transfer stations in five provinces.
Thomas Cowee, who has been interim chief financial officer, will take on the job of permanent CFO.
Quarin has been with Toronto-based BFI Canada since 2000. The fund went public in 2002.
Cowee has more than 25 years of financial management experience in the waste management industry.
Car-dealer finance company Curomax has appointed Debbie Oberender as its vice-president of marketing and corporate communications.
She joins Curomax from Bank of America.
Curomax has offices in Mississauga. Its online finance platform connects dealers across North America to financial institutions and other aftermarket suppliers.
David Wilson has been formally appointed as chair of the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) for five years starting Nov. 1.
Wilson's nomination by the provincial government was announced on June 22.
Wilson is currently vice-chairman of the Bank of Nova Scotia, and chairman and CEO of Scotia Capital.
The OSC administers and enforces Ontario securities laws.
Atlas Cold Storage Income Trust (TSX:FZR.UN) has announced several changes to its senior management team.
John Le Neveu has been appointed senior vice-president for sales and marketing. He has more than 15 years of senior management experience in the frozen food industry.
Paul Dennis has been appointed VP for business integration and effectiveness. Merle Lemmen assumes responsibility for all public refrigerated warehouse and transportation operations in the United States, while David Dickson is appointed to the same role in Canada.
Atlas Cold Storage Income Trust - through its operating arm, Atlas Cold Storage - is part of the supply chain of the North American frozen and chilled food industry. Its headquarters are in Toronto.
Wireless Age Communications Inc. (OTCBB:WLSA) has announced that John Simmonds has stepped down as CEO and Brad Poulos, the current president, has been appointed to the position. Simmonds will remain chairman.

Fiber Optic Systems Technology Inc. (TSXV:FOX), a developer of patented fibre-optic sensing products, has hired J. Douglas Young as executive vice-president.
Young retired from Cygnal Technologies in 2002.

Lindsey Morden Group Inc. (TSX:LM.SV) has named Stephen Cottrell as vice-president and CFO.
Cottrell was formerly part of the senior finance management team at a large insurance services company.
Lindsey Morden also announced that David Langille, its senior VP and CFO, will be leaving the company to pursue other opportunities after a brief period to ensure a smooth transition.
Lindsey Morden is a holding company, which, through its Cunningham Lindsey subsidiaries, provides independent insurance claims services. Its corporate office is in Toronto.
Aecon Group Inc. (TSX: ARE) has appointed Scott Balfour as president of the company. He will retain all of his current responsibilities, including those of CFO.
Balfour has been with Aecon since 1994 and has been a member of its board since 1995.

Scotiabank (TSX:BNS) has appointed Brian Porter, a 25-year employee of the bank, as its chief risk officer. Porter, currently deputy chairman of Scotia Capital and head of Canadian capital structuring, will take the new position Nov. 1.
Scotiabank also said it has named Stephen McDonald and John Schumacher as the new co-heads of Scotia Capital in an executive restructuring of the investment banking wing.
Third Brigade Inc. has hired Kevin Forbes as CFO.
The company says Forbes has spent more than 15 years in the high-tech industry.
Third Brigade provides host intrusion prevention (HIP) services to organizations as part of a defence-in-depth strategy. It is headquartered in Ottawa.
Consolidated Thompson-Lundmark Gold Mines Ltd. of Toronto (TSXV:CLM) has appointed Richard Quesnel as president and COO.
Quesnel has worked in senior management positions during a 26-year career, most recently as general manager at Gibraltar Mines.
