Executive VP Patrick Lambie will be leaving Royal Host Real Estate Investment Trust (TSX:RYL.UN) Feb. 6 and his duties will be assumed by Royal Host's executive team. Royal Host is a diversified hospitality trust focusing on hotel ownership, investment, management and franchising. Its head office is in Calgary.

Oncolytics Biotech Inc. (TSX:ONC, Nasdaq:ONCY) has promoted Dr. Matt Coffey to COO. He was formerly ONC's chief scientific officer. Oncolytics is a Calgary-based biotechnology company focused on the development of oncolytic viruses as potential cancer therapeutics.

TRLabs has named Jeff Rohne as interim president and CEO. He previously held the roles of VP and corporate secretary, VP administration, and director of Manitoba operations spanning his four years at TRLabs. Rohne succeeds Roger Pederson, who is retiring after a 10-year tenure at TRLabs, the last six as president and CEO. TRLabs is an information and communications technology R&D consortium with headquarters in Edmonton and other labs in Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina and Winnipeg.

High Arctic Energy Services Inc. (TSX:HWO) says Jed Wood has resigned as president, CEO and a director to focus on working with an investor group on a possible going-private transaction to acquire control of High Arctic. His stepping down is intended to minimize any conflicts of interest. Wood will retain his position as chairman of Optimal Pressure Drilling Services Inc. in which High Arctic has an interest. Bruce Thiessen, formerly VP of marketing, becomes interim CEO. Dennis Sykora has been appointed as HWO's chief restructuring officer. Sykora has been with High Arctic since April 2007, most recently as executive VP and general counsel. Through its subsidiaries, the Red Deer company is a global provider of specialized oilfield equipment and services.

Gallic Energy Ltd. (TSXV:GLE.A) has appointed Mark Woods as president and COO. Woods, a professional engineer, was most recently senior engineer in the operations group at Enerplus Resources Fund. Gallic also has appointed John Garden as CEO and a director. Peter Haverson, who has been serving as interim CEO, continues as a director. Garden, also a PE, is currently president and CEO of Garden-Williamson Associates Engineering and Deadeye Engineering Inc. Calgary-based Gallic is building a portfolio of oil and gas prospects in Western Europe and Australia.

Computer Modelling Group Ltd. (TSX:CMG) has promoted John Kalman to CFO. Kalman was previously VP of finance. The company says this appointment completes the transition of portfolios from Janet Taylor, who announced her intention to retire earlier this year. CMG is a computer software technology and consulting company serving the oil and gas industry. Its head office is in Calgary.

Pearl Exploration and Production Ltd. (TSX:PXX) has signed an agreement to acquire all of the outstanding shares of BlackCore Resources Inc. and has hired new senior management staff who were also the principal shareholders of BlackCore. John Festival will take over as president and CEO of Pearl and will bring with him his core management team: Don Cook/CFO, Ed Sobel/VP exploration and Chris Hogue/VP operations. Keith Hill will return to his previous role as chairman; former CFO Randy Neely and former VP of ops Dean Tucker are leaving to pursue other opportunities. Pearl is a Calgary company focused on becoming a North American heavy-oil project development company.

Trican Well Service Ltd. (TSX:TCW) has made some executive promotions: Michael Kelly to senior VP and CFO; Bonita Croft to VP legal, general counsel and corporate secretary; Robert Cox to VP of the Canadian geographic region; and Steven Redmond to vice-president HR/ HS and E. Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin has rejoined Trican as VP of finance. Headquartered in Calgary, Trican has global operations providing specialized products, equipment and services used during the exploration and development of oil and gas reserves.

Duncan Chisholm has joined True Energy Trust (TSX: TUI.UN) in the capacity of VP, operations. Chisholm brings with him 32 years of industry experience. The trust says this appointment, along with that of Russell Oicle as VP of exploration, completes True's senior executive team. True Energy is an exploration and production oil and gas trust based in Calgary.

Blue Parrot Energy Inc. (TSXV:BPA) says John MacMillan will replace Paul Patton as president and CEO. Patton will assume the role of COO, while Glenn Hamilton becomes CFO. MacMillan is a professional engineer with more than 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Blue Parrot is a Calgary-based oil and natural gas exploration, development and production company.

As a result of TSXV approval of its qualifying transaction, Canoel International Energy Ltd. (TSXV:CIL) has appointed Jose Ramon Lopez-Portillo as CEO and Steve Paquin as CFO. They replace James Lawson, who has resigned as interim CEO and interim CFO. Canoel, a capital pool company that was listed on April 10, 2008, recently acquired oil and gas interests in three Tunisian exploration permits.

Bonterra Oil & Gas Ltd. (TSX: BNE) says George Fink has elected to transfer to COO Randy Jarock the concurrent role of president. Fink will continue as CEO and a director. Bonterra is an oil and gas company headquartered in Calgary. It recently converted to a corporation from an income trust and intends to continue with a cash dividend policy similar to the distribution policy followed by the trust.

Bonnett's Energy Services Ltd., administrator of Bonnett's Energy Services Trust (TSX: BT.UN), has named Ron Green to the position of VP of sales and marketing. Green brings to the trust more than 30 years of business and operational experience. The Grande Prairie-based trust provides wireline and testing services to the oil and natural gas exploration industry.

Kodiak Energy, Inc. (TSXV:KDK) has welcomed Steven Peter as VP of exploration. Peter, a PE, has worked for small to medium-sized companies for the past 10 years. Kodiak Energy is a Calgary-based oil and gas exploration and development company focused on creating a portfolio of North American assets.

Canadian Superior Energy Inc. (TSX:SNG, Amex:SNG) has promoted Mike Coolen to CEO. Coolen joined Canadian Superior in 2001 and had been the president and COO since April 2006. Coolen is also a director. Craig McKenzie, SNG's previous CEO, has stepped down to pursue other interests and is no longer a director. Canadian Superior is a Calgary-based diversified global energy company engaged in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas, and liquefied natural gas projects.

First National AlarmCap Income Fund (TSX: FNA.UN) has engaged Fred Fong as president and CEO. Fong, a CA, has had a consulting practice in Canada and the U.S. The fund holds the assets and shares of Microtec Enterprises Inc. (a residential security monitoring company) and the assets of Securex Master Limited Partnership (an alternative credit provider). Its head office is in Calgary.

Norman Tsui, CFO of Acceleware Corp. (TSXV:AXE), has stepped down from that position to pursue other business opportunities and to spend more time with his family. Tsui has been retained by the company on a part-time consulting basis. Acceleware develops and markets acceleration middleware. The Calgary company recently underwent a corporate restructuring and strategic renewal process.

As of its Nov. 1, 2008 amalgamation with Common Wealth Credit Union and Community Savings, Servus has nearly $10 billion in assets. Its head office is in Edmonton.

Richard Sayler has resigned from Revelation Ventures Inc. (TSXV:RCA.P) as a director, president and CEO. Current CFO Richard Grass will act as interim president and interim CEO while Revelation continues to work toward its proposed qualifying transaction with Prestique Kitchens Ltd. Revelation, a capital pool company, is based in Crossfield.
