Great-West Lifeco Inc. (TSX: GWO) says that its U.S. subsidiary, Putnam Investments, has named Robert Reynolds as president and CEO. Reynolds was vice-chairman and COO of Fidelity Investments from 2000 to 2007. Founded in 1937, Putnam Investments is a money management firm with US$175 billion in assets as of May 31. Its head office is in Boston. Great-West Lifeco Inc. is a financial services holding company with interests in the life insurance, health insurance, retirement savings, investment management and reinsurance businesses. Imris Inc. (TSX:IM) has named Derek Reimer, CA, as executive VP of finance and administration, and CFO. He replaces Ron Sabourin, who becomes executive VP of business development. Reimer joins Imris after seven years as CFO of Medicure. Imris provides integrated surgical imaging solutions. Its head office is in Winnipeg.

Medicure Inc. (TSX:MPH, AMEX:MCU) has named Dwayne Henley as its new chief financial officer. Henley, a CA, replaces Derek Reimer, who has resigned to pursue other interests, Medicure said in a release. Henley joins Medicure from a private investment and management company where he was VP of finance. Medicure Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on treatments for cardiovascular disorders. Its head office is in Winnipeg.
