David Bryson has joined HudBay Minerals Inc. (TSX:HBM) as VP and chief financial officer. He comes from Skye Resources Inc. where he was CFO. HudBay is an integrated base-metals mining company with assets in North and Central America and a focus on the discovery and production of nickel, zinc and copper metal. Its head office is in Winnipeg. HudBay Minerals and Skye recently completed a business combination between the two companies.

Pam Klein has been appointed president of the Phoenix Group. She joined the Regina-based communications agency nine years ago as vice-president of interactive. Klein replaces Graham Barker, who becomes chairman. Concurrently, Phoenix has named Darren Mitchell as VP of account services, and David Bellerive as VP of creative services and media. The agency says these additions are part of a broader agency restructure that has been underway for the last several months.
