Harvey Bay has been appointed COO of Shore Gold Inc., where he has been CFO since 2002. Bay's career in the mining industry spans more than 20 years.
Shore Gold has also appointed Pieter du Plessis as VP of exploration. He was previously project leader at Shore Gold's Star diamond project.
Shore trades as SGF on the TSX and has its head office in Saskatoon.
Agricore United (TSX:AU) says David Carefoot has been named CFO effective April 2, succeeding Peter Cox. Care-foot has been VP of corporate finance and investor relations.
Agricore United is headquartered in Winnipeg.
James Engdahl has been named president and CEO of Great Western Minerals Group Ltd. (TSXV:GWG). A former vice-president of Barclays Bank of Canada, he brings more than 20 years of corporate finance experience.
Great Western Minerals Group Ltd., which has its office in Saskatoon, is a mineral exploration and development company focused on the Hoidas Lake rare-earth project in northern Saskatchewan, as well as two copper/gold projects in the southwestern U.S.
