The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) has appointed Ingrid J. Raypold as its new vice-president, external relations effective immediately.

Raypold is responsible for the corporate communications, institutional research and strategic partnerships portfolios in addition to the business development unit.

Raypold most recently held senior vice-president, marketing positions in Toronto with Norigen Communications and NAIT strategic partner TELUS.

Dr. Terry Flannigan, former VP advancement, has agreed to extend his tenure at NAIT and will remain in an advisory capacity until at least the New Year.

Myron Franks has joined Shaker Resources Inc. as vice-president, exploration.

Franks comes to Shaker with more than 25 years of experience in Western Canada.

The majority of his experience was with Renaissance Energy Ltd.

Shaker (SHR-TSX) is a Calgary-based emerging company engaged in the exploration, production and development of natural gas and crude oil reserves in Alberta.

Mike Allan has been promoted to vice-president, strategy for RareMethod.

Prior to joining RareMethod as lead strategist, Allan was the president of Stickman Interactive, which merged with RareMethod.

RareMethod designs, builds and implements interactive marketing campaigns.

TriQuest Energy Corp. has appointed Kelly Kerr as vice-president, finance and chief financial officer. Kerr brings 19 years of oil and gas financial and
management experience to TriQuest. His most recent position was as corporate finance associate with a local brokerage firm.

TriQuest is a Canadian junior exploration and production company with a focus on finding new gas reserves in central Alberta.
