Dave Matthews is the new chief financial officer of Vancouver-based International Wex Technologies.
He replaces Bruce Hay, who is relinquishing his role to become chair of the company’s audit committee. Hay remains a director of the company.
Matthews had been chief financial officer of ARC Pharmaceuticals Inc. since 2002.
International Wex (WXI-TSX), is focused on the development and commercialization of drug products, primarily for pain management.
Pharmaglobe America Group, Inc. of Kelowna has named Hannu Tukkimaki as its new president and CEO.
Tukkimaki comes from a 33-year career with Telus Advanced Communications, most recently as vice-president of sales and marketing.
As well, Jonathan Andrews has been appointed chief financial officer of Pharma-globe. He spent more than 20 years in assurance services.
Andrews was previously CEO of NetLearn Services Inc., based in Victoria, where he specialized in the development of technology and privacy-related content.
Pharmaglobe’s Call Management Centre is currently targeting the more than 30 million Americans who lack adequate medical and prescription drug service.
