Most recently, he spent seven years as VP and CFO of a global plastics industry supplier. He replaces Ron Rogers.

Jim Leonidas has joined AltaLink Management Ltd. as executive vice-president and chief financial officer.
Since 1999, he has worked with the SNC-Lavalin Group, most recently as VP and general manager of subsidiary company Securiplex Inc.
Calgary-based AltaLink is responsible for the maintenance and operation of about 11,850 kilometres of transmission lines and 300 substations in Alberta.
Canadian Superior Energy Inc. has bolstered its senior ranks, hiring four executives from El Paso Oil and Gas Canada Inc., which recently sold its Western Canadian assets to British Gas for $345.6 million US.
El Paso Canada president Harvey Klingensmith joins Calgary-based Canadian Superior (SNG-TSX) as chief operating officer.
David Purcell is chief financial officer, Mel Marshall is vice-president of exploration and Tony Sartorelli is senior geophysicist.
At El Paso Canada, Purcell was VP of finance and CFO, Marshall was manager of exploration and development, and Sartorelli was principal geophysicist.
Jan Fisher is resigning as executive director of the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce.
Fisher steps down July 30 after seven years with the chamber. She will join Community Savings credit union in Red Deer as vice-president of marketing.
A search is under way for a replacement.
Edmonton-based Maclab Hotels & Resorts has appointed Dan Lyttle to the post of director of sales and marketing.
Lyttle has more than 15 years of national and global sales experience.
Maclab is the hotel division of Maclab Enterprises, a privately held real-estate firm with operations across Western and Northern Canada as well as the United States.
John Cassels has been named president and CEO of Calgary-based Highview Resources Ltd. (HVW-TSXV). Cassels is a chartered accountant with 26 years of oil and gas industry experience.
As well, Philip Rodd has been appointed as vice- president of exploration. He has more than 20 years of industry experience.
Anthony DeSantis is the new general manager of the Italian Centre Shop Ltd. DeSantis has spent more than 10 years in retail sales and operation, most recently with the Italian Centre.
As well, Angelo Fioretti has been named controller.
Italian Centre is an Edmonton-based importer and retail company.
The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has two new faces. The provincial government has appointed Roderick McLeod, Q.C., and Karl Ewoniak to serve as ASC members for a three-year term.
McLeod is counsel, founder and former senior partner of McLeod & Company, a Calgary-based law firm. Ewoniak, a chartered accountant, is president and owner of an Edmonton consulting and business brokerage.
Peter McKeown is the new chief financial officer of Calgary-based Axia NetMedia Corporation.
He replaces John Maynard, who has resigned.
Previously, McKeown was the company’s vice-president of corporate development.
Axia (AXX-TSE) specializes in supplying high-speed networks and hosting environments, and creates and manages e-learning content.
Red Deer-based RIFCO Inc. has a new president and CEO. W.R. (Bill) Graham was previously vice-president of operations for RIFCO (Repair Industry Finance Corporation).
He replaces R. Lee Emerson, who will continue working with the firm (RFC-TSXV) in market research and product development.
Randy Henderson has resigned as chief financial officer of Enmax Corp. to take a job with another company. Henderson has been replaced on an interim basis by Brad Thompson, the municipal utility’s vice- president and controller.
Enmax is a wholly owned subsidiary of the City of Calgary.
