Edmonton-based software developer CodeBaby Corp. has named Robert Froment as its chief financial officer.
Most recently controller of EPCOR Energy Services, Froment was previously vice-president of finance for MessagingDirect Ltd., an electronic billing software firm.
Gary Holden becomes the president and chief operating officer of AltaGas Services Inc. (ALA-TSX) effective April 1.
Holden was most recently the chairman, CEO and president of EnSource Energy Services Inc.

Shawn Derby has been named senior location executive responsible for IBM in Calgary.
He assumes this role in addition to his current duties as IBM territory executive overseeing Alberta’s private sector.
Derby joined IBM in 1984 as a marketing representative in Regina. He moved to Calgary in 1995 and has held several sales and management positions prior to assuming his current role.

The company (LEC-TSX) has put Robert Martin in the president’s chair. Martin has 23 years of industry experience.
Dennis Tangen, the company’s new vice-president of administration, has more than 30 years of business experience including 15 years in the oilpatch. He has been an officer and director of the corporation’s wholly owned subsidiary, Alsask Energy Services Inc., for five years.
Former president Mark Ross, meanwhile, has been named chief executive officer. He replaces Jeffrey Dworkin, who will continue as corporate secretary and CFO.
