The new chief executive of Craig Wireless Systems Ltd. (TSX:CWG) is David Lazzarato, a veteran of the telecom industry. Lazzarato most recently served as chief financial officer and executive vice-president of Alliance Atlantis Communications Inc.
Craig Wireless was founded in 1995 by Winnipeg's Craig family, former owners of broadcasting company Craig Media. The company offers broadband Internet access, television program delivery and other business connectivity services.

Rick Pauls has been appointed chairman, interim president and CEO of DiaMedica Inc. (TSXV:DMA), a Winnipeg-based drug company focused on treatments for Type 2 diabetes. Pauls' appointment follows the resignation of Karl-Gunnar Hidinger as president. Hidinger will continue to work with DiaMedica as a consultant.

Don Blocka of Conexus Credit Union has been elected board president of SaskCentral. Blocka, an agricultural producer from the Prince Albert area, has been on the board since 2002. SaskCentral is owned by Saskatchewan's 66 credit unions, for which it acts as a trade association. Its head office is in Regina.
