Crown Energy Technologies has named Jeff Fox as its northern area manager.

Fox joins Crown with more than 15 years of experience in the energy supply sector. He will be based at Crown’s new Leduc facility.

Privately owned Crown Energy Technologies designs, develops and manufactures oilfield service equipment.

Allan Cleiren is leaving his senior post at Red Deer-based Collicutt Hanover Services Ltd.

Cleiren has been with the company two years as vice-president of finance and chief financial officer. A search has been launched for his replacement.

The CFO’s role will be filled on an interim basis by Thomas Lewis, the company’s vice-president of business development.

Collicutt Hanover (COH-TSE) is involved in the fabrication and service of natural gas compression and power generation equipment.

NTI Inc. of Edmonton has put John Hagen in the CFO’s chair.

Hagen, a chartered financial accountant since 1989, has spent more than 20 years with public corporations and government institutions including TELUS Corporation and the Alberta Treasury. He will direct the financial and accounting operations of NTI, which works to design, develop and produce non-radioactive implantable/injectable products for the treatment and diagnosis of disease.

Colin Maclellan has joined Calgary-based CSI Wireless Inc. as senior vice-president and general manager of the company’s wireless business unit.

Maclellan joins the Calgary-based provider of wireless and GPS technologies after 16 years with Nortel Networks, most recently as vice-president of wireless Internet operations.

CSI Wireless (CSY-TSE) provides wireless and GPS vehicle and asset management products for mobile and fixed applications in the automotive, commercial and consumer markets. The company has offices in Calgary, Silicon Valley and Phoenix.

Calgary-based Iron Leaf Communications Inc. has named Derrick Lo as its new senior interactive designer.

Lo was previously a senior graphic designer for Los-Angeles-based PATH Communications as well as both Matridigm Corporation and Loud Advertising in Toronto.

Iron Leaf is a private company which specializes in visual strategic thinking, consulting in industries from oil and gas to non-profits.

Hyduke Energy Services has named Eugene Wirsta as its new chief operating officer. He also will serve on the company’s board of directors.

Wirsta has 40 years experience in the oilfield fabricating and manufacturing industry. He was general manager of Go Getter Welding Ltd. for the past 24 years.

Calgary Renaissance has undergone some changes at the top.

Chief executive Grant Doyle is now the company’s sole owner after buying outstanding shares held by company president Greg Habstritt. The pair founded the company last year.

Doyle now assumes the role of president as well as CEO.

The Calgary Homeless Foundation has hired Rion Sillito as a half-time public affairs manager.

Sillito has wide range of PR experience, most recently with FWJ Advertising and Public Relations.

Using a partnership model, the Calgary Homeless Foundation provides capital funding for housing projects and provides a vehicle for community consultation on homelessness issues and solutions.
