NAL Oil & Gas Trust of Calgary (TSX:NAE.UN) has added two new members to its senior management team.
Marlon McDougall is the new vice-president of operations. Prior to joining NAL, McDougall was VP of operations for Northrock Resources.
Keith Steeves joins NAL as VP of finance. He spent the last three years as chief financial officer of Irving Oil Ltd.
Ross Liland will continue to act as CFO until his contract expires at the end of March, at which time Steeves will assume CFO duties.
NAL is an investment trust that generates distributions through the production and marketing of oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids.
Charles Chebry has resigned as CFO and VP of finance of Eyelogic Systems Inc. (TSXV:EYE.A), and as CFO and VP of finance of Olympia Financial Group Inc. (TSXV:OLY). He will remain with the two companies as a director.
Dewar McCarthy has been appointed the new CFO and VP of finance for both companies.
Eyelogic markets a refraction system for the eyecare industry. Olympia is a financial services company. Both firms are based in Calgary.
Stem Cell Therapeutics Corp. (TSXV:SSS) has seen a change of command.
Alan Moore, the company's chief clinical and regulatory officer, has been appointed as the new president and CEO. He replaces Joseph Tucker, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities.
Based in Calgary, Stem Cell Therapeutics is a biotech company focused on drug-based therapies to treat central nervous-system diseases.
Gerry Landers has been appointed sales manager for sister companies Prestige Railings & Stairs Ltd. and Royal Oak Circular Stairs Ltd. Landers has more than 20 years of sales experience, most recently in the field of home renovations.
Prestige sells wood and iron railings and custom hand-turnings, while Royal Oak manufactures and installs custom curved stairs and millwork. Both are based in Calgary with offices in Edmonton and Toronto.
Peyto Energy Trust (TSX: PEY.UN) says Darren Gee, the president of Peyto Exploration & Development Corp., has also assumed the role of CEO and joined the board of directors.
Gee replaces Don Gray as CEO, who has retired but remains an active member of the board.
Peyto Exploration is a junior oil and gas company with corporate office in Calgary.
There have been some changes within the Calgary Exhibition & Stampede media relations department.
Brenda Hanchar has been named media marketing manager, reflecting a broader role in working with the senior leadership team.
Doug Fraser has been promoted to the position of media relations manager. Fraser has been with the Stampede for the past two years.
Nicole Fisher joins the department in the position of media relations co-ordinator.
Kootenay Energy Inc. of Calgary (TSXV:KTY) has promoted Jack Marsh to president and CEO. Marsh joined Kootenay in 2005 in his prior role as VP of engineering and business development. Marsh is also a company director.
WestJet (TSX:WJA) says Matthew Handford has resigned as the airline's executive VP of people, and will leave in the first quarter of 2007 to assume a senior human resources position with a national retail organization.
WestJet is a discount airline offering scheduled service within its 35-city North American and Caribbean network.
