He was most recently with a large oil and gas company where he was responsible for business development activities in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.
Endev is headquartered in Calgary.
Bernard Isautier is retiring as president-CEO of PetroKazakhstan Inc. in September. He will remain as chairman.
Graeme Phipps will succeed Isautier on Sept. 16, the Calgary-headquartered company said at its annual meeting in Toronto. Phipps' most recent corporate job was as vice-president of exploration at Petro-Canada.
PetroKazakhstan (TSX:PKZ, NYSE:PKZ) is a 150,000'-barrel-a-day oil producer with operations centred in Kazakhstan.
Watson Wyatt Worldwide has appointed Mark Ferguson as the director for client development for Western Canada.
Ferguson has spent 24 years in the corporate sector in Western Canada. More recently, he has been involved in his own business dealing in business succession and corporate finance.
Watson Wyatt is a global consulting firm focused on human capital and financial management.
Robert Bhatia has been named as the new deputy minister for Alberta Government Services.
Bhatia has been serving as the revenue deputy minister in Alberta Finance since November 2004.
His appointment follows the resignation of Roger Jackson from the position.
The former Revenue Ministry was merged with Finance after the last provincial election. The position of revenue deputy minister will not be continued.
