Pengrowth Corp., which administers the Pengrowth Energy Trust, says chief financial officer Robert Hodgins will retire at the end of November.

According to Pengrowth (TSX:PGF.B), Hodgins will “pursue other interests.” But he has agreed to continue providing the oil and gas producer with advice and support past his retirement date.

Until a new CFO is appointed, Chris Webster, vice-president and treasurer, will take on CFO duties.

Baytex Energy Trust (TSX:BTE.UN) of Calgary has appointed Anthony Marino as chief operating officer, with responsibility for all of Baytex’s oil and gas operations.

Prior to joining Baytex, Marino was president and CEO of Dominion Exploration Canada Ltd., the Canadian subsidiary of Dominion Resources, Inc.

Baytex Energy Trust is a conventional oil and gas income trust.

Thomas Bugg has resigned as president and chief operating officer of Genoil Inc. Bugg has also resigned from Genoil’s board and will be replaced by David Lifschultz.

Genoil did not say why Bugg had left the company.

Bugg will remain a consultant to Genoil for the next 18 months while he pursues new business opportunities that don’t compete with Genoil.

Calgary-based Genoil (TSXV:GNO) sells technology to the oil and gas industry.

The Alberta Chambers of Commerce (ACC) says it has accepted Darren Reeder’s resignation as the organization’s executive director and CEO. Reeder will be staying on with the ACC until Dec.

31 while the executive committee searches for a replacement.

The ACC is a federation of 127 chambers of commerce, which in turn represent more than 22,000 businesses.
