Hugh Smythe has retired as senior VP of Intrawest Mountain Resorts. Smythe remains actively involved with Intrawest in an advisory capacity. Intrawest develops and manages destination resorts, and also sells real estate at its resorts and at other locations across North America and in Europe. The Vancouver company is owned primarily by private equity funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group LLC.
