President resigns from armour maker's U.S. subsidiary

Cynthia Mooney has resigned as president of Sentry Armor Systems Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of Pacific Safety Products Inc. (TSXV:PSP).

Jim Juntilla, a director of PSP, will assume the role of president of Sentry Armor on an interim basis.

Kelowna-based PSP sells body armour and protective products against chemical and biological hazards for the defence and security markets.

Angiotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (TSX:ANP, Nasdaq:ANPI) has appointed Victor Diaz as senior VP of global manufacturing and supply-chain management.

Previously, Diaz was VP of global operations at Teleflex Medical.

Angiotech is a specialty pharmaceutical and medical device company with head office in Vancouver.

Digital Dispatch (TSX:DD) has named a new VP of international operations.

Ken Piaggio previously worked for TIR Systems Ltd.

Digital Dispatch sells mobile-data products and services for fleet and workforce management. Its head office is in Richmond.

Municipal Software Corp. (TSXV:MSZ) has added Dennis Asbury to its executive team as VP of sales.

Asbury was most recently VP of sales and marketing at Harris Computer Systems.

Based in Victoria, Municipal Software (TSXV:MSZ) provides packaged software that manages daily business processes of local governments.

ESI Environmental Sensors Inc. (TSXV:ESV) has a new president and CEO.

Blair Heffelfinger filled senior management roles in several companies prior to joining ESI.

ESI's systems enable customers to monitor the presence and movement of water. Its corporate office is in Victoria.

Tower Energy Ltd. (TSXV:TWR) has appointed Paul Ray as a director and president. He replaces James Watt, who has resigned for personal family matters.

Ray has been the chairman and CEO of Heritage Petroleum Plc, and president and a director of Golden Dynasty Resources.

Based in Vancouver, Tower is active in the search for oil and gas in southern Alberta.

Halo Resources Ltd. (TSXV:HLO) has named Lynda Bloom to the positions of president and CEO.

Bloom has served as a director since November 2006, and has been a director and officer of junior mining companies for more than a decade.

Halo is a Vancouver-based resource company focused on the acquisition of near-production base- and precious-base metal deposits.

Hannu Virtanen will join Lake Shore Gold Corp. (TSX:LSG) as VP of project development on March 31, to be based in Sudbury, Ont. Virtanen brings more than 30 years of experience as a geological engineer with Inco Ltd.

Lake Shore is a gold exploration company active in Eastern Canada. Its corporate office is in Vancouver.

Channel Resources Ltd. (TSXV:CHU) has appointed Gordon Pettman, CA, as VP, CFO and controller. Pettman takes over from Shawn VanderMeer, who has resigned these positions to pursue another career path.

Kelowna-based Channel is an emerging resource company pursuing gold exploration and development opportunities.

Northland Resources Inc. (TSXV:NAU) has appointed Aurelian Bukatko as CFO. He replaces Bill Wagener, who becomes COO.

Bukatko was most recently senior VP and CFO at Alfred Karcher USA.

Fleishman-Hillard Canada (formerly GPC Public Affairs) has welcomed two new consultants, Jeremy Twigg and Danica Wolfe, to the Vancouver office.

Twigg previously conducted media relations for energy, plastics, mining and biotech firms for a Vancouver-based agency.

Wolfe previously conducted media relations in the non-profit sector.

Fleishman-Hillard, a communications and public affairs firm, has Canadian offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver.

Lifebank Corp. (TSXV:LBK) has re-appointed Owen Granger as its chief financial officer, replacing Nathalie Pilon, who has resigned. Granger previously served as CFO and a director of Lifebank from 2000 to 2005.

Lifebank is a biomedical service company that provides cryogenic storage of umbilical-cord blood stem cells. Its head office is in Burnaby.

Global Financial Group (TSXV:GFG) has made Len Schuman its new vice-president of global strategies for GFG and president of egX Markets Inc.

The veteran Schuman has spent 30 years in the financial markets. He previously worked with OMX.

Global Financial, through its wholly owned subsidiary egX Markets, is developing a securities exchange system for the listing and trading of real estate securities. It is headquartered in Vancouver.

Contec Innovations (TSXV:BUZ), a provider of mobile data infrastructure software, has appointed Sun Hua as director of strategic marketing for China.

Sun is a 13-year veteran of Ericsson China.

Contec is headquartered in Vancouver with its business focus on China.

Robert Brown is TLC Ventures Corp.'s (TSXV:TLV) new president and CEO, while David Heberlein becomes VP of exploration. Brown will also become a director.

TLC's two newest executives hail from Barrick Gold Corp., where Brown held the senior position of manager of exploration, business development and Canadian exploration; and Heberlein the position of chief geochemist, exploration Brown replaces Edward Farrauto, who will continue in his role as CFO and a director.
