ACAMP - the Alberta Centre for Advanced MNT (Microsystems and Nanotechnology) Products - has appointed Kevin Yallup as chief technology officer. Yallup brings more than 15 years of experience in MNT product development from Europe to Alberta. ACAMP is a collaboration among industry, government and academia to create a path to commercialization for companies and researchers in the MNT sector. From its centre in Edmonton, ACAMP provides support in three areas: Marketing and business development, product development, and packaging and assembly.

Keyera Facilities Income Fund (TSX:KEY.UN; KEY.DB) is making some senior management changes: David Smith, currently executive VP and CFO, will become executive VP of the liquids business unit effective Nov. 15. Dean Setoguchi has become VP of finance. On Nov. 15, Setoguchi will assume the role of VP and CFO from Smith. Most recently, Setoguchi was CFO of Cordero Energy Inc. Keyera operates one of the largest natural gas midstream businesses in Canada. Its head office is in Calgary.

Decision Dynamics Technology Ltd. (TSXV:DDY), a provider of operations management software for the energy industry, says its president Ron Green has left the company. With the sale of its Wellcore assets, DDY says it will be further restructuring its senior management team to focus on its Oncore product. DDY's head office is located in Calgary. It operates wholly owned foreign subsidiaries in the U.S. with offices in Houston.

Radius Resources Corp. (TSXV:RAX) says Bruce Stewart has resigned as CFO. RAX is a Calgary-based junior oil and gas company.

Angle Energy Inc. has announced two promotions. Elizabeth More becomes VP of exploration, while Glen Richardson becomes VP of land. The two joined Angle in 2007. Based in Calgary, Angle was founded in 2004 to engage in oil and gas exploration, development and production in Canada.

John Ruzicki has assumed the position of executive VP at Cathedral Energy Services Income Trust (TSX: CET.UN). Ruzicki was most recently VP of sales and marketing for Peak Energy Services Trust. David DeFreitas has been promoted to VP of completion services, U.S.A. and has relocated to Denver. He previously held the position of general manager of the trust's Canadian production testing operations. Cathedral is an energy service provider of selected oilfield services with its head office in Calgary.

The Canadian Society for Unconventional Gas (CSUG) has named Kevin Heffernan as VP. Heffernan is a professional geologist with more than 30 years of experience in resource development industries, most recently as director, government and regulatory for Trident Exploration Corp. He was a member of CSUG's board from 2004 to 2008. CSUG is a not-for-profit association created to support the responsible exploration and development of natural gas from unconventional sources in Canada. Its office is in Calgary.

Jacqueline Shan, co-founder of cold and flu remedy maker CV Technologies Inc. (TSX:CVQ), has stepped aside as CEO. The company said Shan is relinquishing the position to focus on her role as chief scientific officer. Jack Moffatt, who has been an outside adviser to CVQ's board for several months, was named executive chairman and assumes interim oversight responsibility during the search for a new CEO.

Shan remains president and a director of the Edmonton company she co-founded in 1992. The "realignment of responsibilities" comes with the company's stock trading below $1 on the TSX.

Seaway Energy Services Inc. (TSXV:SEW) has appointed Michal Holub, CA, as its CFO. Holub was most recently controller for an oil and gas junior producer. He replaces Patricia Taguchi, who had resigned to pursue other interests. Seaway is a Calgary-based corporation providing environmental consulting services to the oil and gas industry.

David Mairs is joining VGS Seismic Canada Inc. (TSXV:VGS) as president and CEO, and member of the board in mid-October. He will replace interim CEO Richard White. Mairs brings more than 20 years of experience related to the seismic industry. Lorraine Myers has been hired as VGS's CFO. She has been a consultant to VGS for the past nine months. Scott Milroy, previous CFO, is leaving to pursue other opportunities but will remain until mid-October for the transition. Based in Calgary, VGS Seismic creates and markets digital seismic data for licensing to oil and natural gas exploration companies.

Arrow Energy Ltd. (TSXV:AOF) has appointed Robyn Lore as president and a director of Arrow. Lore was recently the managing director of land for Berkana Energy Corp.

Ross Clark has been appointed executive VP of Arrow. Clark was recently the managing director of exploration for Berkana. Arrow is a Calgary-based junior resource company focused on natural gas and oil in Alberta.

EnerVest Energy and Oil Sands Total Return Trust (TSX:EOS.UN) has appointed Jane Depraitere as CFO and COO. Depraitere previously was director of operations at Mawer Investment Management Ltd. Former CFO Sean Morgan has left to pursue other opportunities. EnerVest is a closed-end trust that invests in a diversified portfolio of companies and income trusts involved in the Canadian oilsands, and traditional oil and gas royalty trusts. Depraitere has also become the CFO and COO of EnerVest Diversified Income Trust (TSX:EIT.UN) and of EnerVest Natural Resource Fund Ltd. (ENV 040), again replacing Sean Morgan. EIT.UN is a closed-end trust that invests in a portfolio of income, royalty and real estate investment trusts, limited partnerships, and corporations or other securities listed on the TSX. ENV 040 is an open-end mutual fund corporation specializing in energy investments. The trusts and the fund are headquartered in Calgary.

Don Wilson will retire from his roles of senior VP and CFO for Stantec (TSX:STN, NYSE:STN) on Dec. 31. Dan Lefaivre, currently VP of finance and treasury, will assume the CFO role effective Jan. 1. Wilson, who has been with Stantec since 1990, will continue to act a consulting role. Lefaivre, a CMA, joined Stantec in 1990. Stantec provides professional consulting services for public- and private-sector clients in the infrastructure and facilities sector at every stage. Its head office is in Edmonton.
