Dawson is former VP of exploration for EuroZinc Mining Corp.

WEX Pharmaceuticals Inc. (TSX:WXI) says Bill Chen is resigning as chief financial officer effective Dec. 31 for personal reasons.

Vaughn Balberan, the company's controller, will perform the CFO duties on an acting basis while a replacement is sought.

Based in Vancouver, WEX is focused on drug products to treat pain.

Kirk Henderson has been named interim president of Harmony Airways.

The former Jim Pattison Group vice-chair replaces Gary Collins, who has resigned from the Richmond-based airline but will stay on as a member of the advisory board.

Harmony Airways' core business continues to be vacation destinations, with long-term plans to fly to China.

ACD Systems International Inc. (TSX:ASA) says James Latham has reversed gears from VP of marketing to marketing strategy consultant. ACD says this transition back to the role in which he initially served follows the development of the company's marketing team, reducing the need for Latham's full-time commitment.

Headquartered in Saanichton, ACD develops and markets digital imaging software.

DiscFactories Corp. (TSXV:DSK) has appointed Anthony Garson, a director of the company, to the positions of president and CEO. He was previously president, CEO and a director of Great China Mining Inc.

The appointment comes as Vancouver-based DiscFactories seeks regulatory approval to move from the TSXV to the CNQ and change its name to Excalibur Resources Ltd.

Todd Stephenson has joined Visiphor Corp. (TSXV:VIS) as senior director of sales. He brings more than 15 years of sales and business development experience in the IT and software industries.

Visiphor also has made two promotions. Stephanie Hayes has been appointed director of consulting services while Steve Hart has been appointed director of engineering.

The two were part of the Sunaptic Solutions Inc.

consulting practice acquired by Visiphor in 2005.

In other company moves, Al Kassam will assume the responsibilities of VP of sales and marketing in addition to his current position as VP of support, and Wayne Smith will assume the role of COO in addition to his role as CFO.
