Texada Software (TSXV:TXS) has appointed Don Whitbeck as president and CEO, replacing chairman William Swisher, who was serving as interim president and CEO while the search for a replacement was under way.
Whitbeck brings more than 25 years of software industry experience. He was previously CEO at Veredex Logistics.
Texada, headquartered in Guelph, provides enterprise asset management software to the equipment rental industry.
Comstock Canada Ltd. has hired Barry Welsh as CFO.
Welsh joins Comstock Canada from the accounting firm of Henderson & Welsh, where he was a partner since 1985.
Comstock Canada, headquartered in Burlington, provides mechanical and electrical services for commercial and institutional buildings and industrial facilities.
PBB Global Logistics Income Fund (TSX: PBB.UN) has appointed Ken Chalmers as president and CEO following the retirement of Mike Scott.
Chalmers joined PBB at the time of the IPO in 2002. Prior to joining PBB, he practised law in Toronto.
PBB provides third-party international logistics services.
Kinross Gold Corp.
has appointed Tye Burt as president and chief executive officer. He replaces Bob Buchan, who announced his resignation in January.
Burt was formerly vice-chairman and executive director of corporate development with Barrick Gold Corp.
Kinross (TSX:K) is the seventh-largest primary gold producer in the world.
Largo Resources Ltd. (TSXV:LGO) has announced the appointment of Mark Brennan as president and CEO.
Brennan was a founding member of the management team of Desert Sun Mining Corp. and helped develop Admiral Bay Resources.

ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. (TSX:ATA) has named Paul Patterson vice-president of sales and business development for its automation systems group, and Mike Fisher vice'-president of sales for the automation systems group in eastern North America. Both are long-time employees.
ATS designs and produces automated manufacturing and test systems, which are used primarily by multinational corporations in a variety of industries including automotive, computer/ electronics, healthcare and consumer products. It is also involved in the growing market for solar energy cells and modules.
David Ricks has been named president and general manager of Eli Lilly Canada, an affiliate of Eli Lilly and Co.
He succeeds Jeffrey Henderson, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities, the company said. Eli Lilly Canada, with headquarters in Toronto, employs more than 850 people across the country.
MortgageBrokers.com Inc. has named two executives: Bill Beavers as vice-president of finance and Dong Lee as vice-president of the mortgage broker division.
Beavers held several senior positions with Ernst & Young, including being a senior vice-president. Lee was a senior manager at Scotiabank.
MortgageBrokers is a subsidiary of MortgageBrokers.

CIBC is rejigging its retail banking business, combining it with parts of its high-end wealth management unit and changing its senior management.
The bank announced that Jill Denham, vice-chair of retail markets, "is leaving CIBC to pursue other interests."
The expanded retail markets division will be led by Sonia Baxendale as senior executive vice-president, retail markets.
Baxendale, who joined CIBC (TSX:CM) in 1992, was formerly senior executive vice-president of CIBC wealth management.
Victor Dodig, former CEO of UBS Global Asset Management for Canada, becomes executive vice'-president, wealth management, in charge of Wood Gundy's private client and online brokerage divisions, TAL Global Asset Management and CIBC's asset management businesses.
BenQ Corp. has promoted Jimmy Davlouros, a 20-year veteran of sales and marketing in the technology sector, from vice-president and general manager of BenQ Canada Corp. to executive vice-president of BenQ North America. He will work from the company's headquarters in Irvine, Calif.
BenQ has expertise that encompasses display, storage, imaging, wireless and broadband areas.

Vicwest Corp. has named Robert Skull as president and CEO, replacing Tony Molluso, who successfully completed a turnaround mandate, the company said. Skull is president of Westeel Ltd., a Winnipeg subsidiary of Vicwest.
Vicwest, with corporate offices in Oakville, manufactures metal roofing, siding and other metal building products.
