Krystyna Hoeg is leaving Corby Distilleries Ltd. (TSX:CDL.A) after 10 years as president and CEO "to pursue personal interests," the Toronto spirits company says.

Con Constandis, who succeeds Hoeg, was most recently managing director of the Americas for Castle Brands Inc. Hoeg will assist with the transition.

Luxell Technologies Inc. (TSX:LUX) of Mississauga has made three appointments to its management and operating team.

Richard Pepperall has been appointed vice-president of design and engineering, Jean-Louis Larmor senior vice-president of business development and Anthony Pierro vice-president of operations.

Pepperall comes from L-3 Communications Electronic Systems. Larmor has dealt with corporations and government agencies in aerospace, defence and security in North America and Europe. Pierro joined Luxell in 2005.

Luxell designs, manufactures and licenses flat panel-display technologies for defence and avionics.

Loblaw Companies Ltd. (TSX:L) has added Dalton Phillips to its executive team as chief operating officer. He was most recently CEO of Brown Thomas.

Wi-LAN Inc. (TSX:WIN) has named Steve Bower as its full-time CFO. Bower had been Wi-LAN's acting CFO since last March, overseeing the company's transformation from a products and engineering services operation to a wireless and wireline IP licensing company.

Cygnal Technologies Corp. (TSX:CYN) has named Jack Van Kessel as president and general manager of White Radio LP. Van Kessel was most recently VP and GM of the hardware division of CanWel Building Materials.

JumpTV Inc. (TSX:JTV) has announced a number of appointments.

Daniel Canel, former CEO and majority shareholder of Sports International Group, has become chairman of JumpTV's Latin American business unit.

Kaleil Isaza Tuzman has been named president and chief operating officer. Isaza Tuzman will continue to serve as president and CEO of JumpTV International, the company's wholly owned subsidiary.

Alex Blum, who had previously held the position of president and COO of JumpTV Inc., will continue with the company through the end of January to help facilitate the transition after which time he will serve on JumpTV's advisory board and assume his new role as CEO of a technology provider to JumpTV.

Sila Celik, working in London, England, COO of JumpTV International, has been named head of global operations. Lucy Kupnicki, working in Toronto, has been named head of program management. Brian Adams, working in Toronto and New York, has been named head of the product development group. Mark David, working in London, England, has been named head of JumpTV's global sports initiatives.

Brenda Gibson, working in Toronto and formerly director of finance at Yahoo! Inc., has been named controller.

JumpTV delivers subscription-based ethnic television over the Internet, amounting to more than 250 channels from more than 70 countries. Its head office is in Toronto.

Vicwest Income Fund (TSX:VIC.UN) has reassigned executive responsibilities during the medical leave of president and CEO Robert Skull. Chairman Bryan Held will be executive chairman and interim CEO.

The fund's Vicwest business unit, headquartered in Oakville, manufactures metal roofing, siding and other metal building products. The fund's storage products business unit, operating under the name of Westeel, is based in Winnipeg.

Bryan Tatoff has rejoined Danier Leather Inc. (TSX: DL) as senior VP, CFO and secretary. He had left in September for a job with a non-competitive private company.

John Orr, P. Eng., has been named COO of GLR Resources Inc. (TSX:GRS). Orr has more than 25 years of mining experience in both underground and open pit operations.

SunOpta Inc. (TSX:SOY, Nasdaq:STKL) has appointed Steve Bromley as president and CEO. He succeeds Jeremy Kendall, who remains as chairman. Bromley, a CGA, joined SunOpta in 2001 and had been COO since 2003 and president since 2005.

SunOpta has also appointed Joseph Riz as executive VP. He has been a member of the board of directors of SunOpta for the past 20 years.

SunOpta Inc. has three business units: the SunOpta food group; the Opta minerals group; and the SunOpta bio-process group. The company's head office is in Brampton.

Coventree Inc. (TSX: COF) has hired David Allan and Doug Onofrychuk to lead its capital and administration business units, respectively. These appointments enable Geoff Cornish, the former leader of these business units, to concentrate on business development.

Allan was previously global head of asset securitization and credit structuring at one of Canada's largest investment banks. Onofrychuk joins Coventree from OmniRIM Solutions Inc., where he was COO.
