Sun-Rype Products Ltd. (TSX:SRF) has engaged David Lynn as its new president and CEO, effective Oct. 6. This appointment completes the search process that started last May with the retirement of Eric Sorensen. Lynn was most recently senior VP of marketing for Saputo Dairy Products Canada. Interim president and CEO Dave McAnerney will return to his previous role of VP of operations.

Sun-Rype, based in Kelowna, is a manufacturer and marketer of fruit snacks and juices.

Oremex Resources Inc. (TSXV: ORM) says Linda Thorstad is no longer CEO of the company. It gave no further details. Based in Vancouver, Oremex is engaged in the exploration and development for silver and gold.

Golden Harp Resources Inc. (TSXV:GHR) has appointed Alec Peck to the position of CFO. Peck has provided financial and advisory services to Canadian businesses, and is currently an officer and director of several companies. He replaces former CFO Judith Mazvihwa, who will now focus on her expanding family and the two other companies for which she is CFO. Golden Harp is a Vancouver mineral exploration company.

PhotoChannel Networks Inc. (TSXV:PN) has promoted Kyle Hall, formerly its CMO, to the role of CEO. At the same time, Aaron Rallo assumes the role of president in addition to his current position of COO. Hall replaces Peter Fitzgerald, who has carried out the CEO role for four years from the U.K. Hall will be based in Vancouver. Fitzgerald becomes executive chairman. Meanwhile, Robert Chisholm has been promoted from within to CFO.

PhotoChannel operates PNI Digital Media to provide services for major retailers, wireless carriers and content providers. Its head office is in Vancouver.

(TSXV:NVC), a new specialty vascular device company comprised of the former Medical Ventures Corp., Neovasc Medical Ltd. and B-Balloon Ltd., has made two appointments to newly created executive positions. Cynthia Roney becomes VP of marketing and Sean Moore becomes VP of sales. Roney previously was president and CEO of Xillix Technologies Corp. Moore was director of sales at Medical Ventures. Neovasc develops, manufactures and markets medical devices for the vascular and surgical marketplace. Its head office is in Richmond.

Sutter Gold Mining Inc. (TSXV: SGM) says Clayr Alexander will become its president and CEO.

Hal Herron will continue as president and CEO until his successor joins Sutter full time at the end of October. Alexander is a senior mining professional who most recently worked for Kinross Gold Corp. Based in Vancouver, Sutter is a junior gold exploration and development company active in the California Mother Lode.

Fission Energy Corp. (TSXV:FIS) has promoted Ross McElroy, formerly VP of exploration, to president and COO. He has recently relocated to Fission's head office in Kelowna, where he will continue to oversee the company's search for new uranium deposits on its land holdings in Canada and Peru. McElroy replaces Jody Dahrouge, who has accepted an appointment to Fission's board and will remain a consultant to the company.

Lasso Data Systems, a provider of customer relationship management solutions to the real estate industry, says Charles Dai has joined the organization as VP of research and development. Most recently, Dai served as senior director of software development for Global Market Insite, Inc. Lasso is a privately held company headquartered in Vancouver.

Architectural, engineering and planning firm Cannon Design has promoted three personnel. Christopher Rowe, David Wilkinson and Larry Podhora all have been named vice-presidents. Currently, Rowe is serving as sustainable design leader on the Richmond Oval. Wilkinson is a business development leader located in Cannon's Victoria office. Podhora's particular focus has been in the sports and recreation sector. Cannon Design delivers services in 17 offices throughout North America.

Cathay Pacific Airways has appointed Alex Shum to the position of VP Canada where he will be responsible for the airline's operations in Canada. He relocates to Vancouver from the airline's Hong Kong headquarters. Cathay Pacific has been flying to Canada for over 25 years.
