Suncor Energy Inc. has appointed J. Kenneth (Ken) Alley as its senior vice-president and chief financial officer, effective July 1.

Alley will be filling the position soon to be vacated by Steve Williams, who is moving to Fort McMurray to lead Suncor’s oilsands operations as executive VP, oilsands.

Alley joined Suncor in 1984. He has been Suncor’s VP finance since January 2000.

Security system provider VOXCOM Incorporated has made two key executive appointments in its Edmonton head office.

Fred Fong has been named executive vice-president after 10 years as chief financial officer of the firm.

He has been replaced by Keith Muncy, the company’s vice-president of finance since May 2000. Prior to that, Muncy spent 10 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, most recently as senior manager.

VOXCOM provides monitoring services for security alarm systems and LifeCall emergency response systems to all provinces from its head office and call centre in Edmonton.

Dennis Kwan is the new controller of Calgary-based Endev Energy Inc.

Kwan has more than 15 years of experience in the natural resource and technology sectors, including management roles with several publicly listed and private corporations.

The Alberta Chambers of Commerce is a federation of 127 chambers of commerce, which represent more than 22,000 businesses.

Mark Waldron is no longer Comac Food Group Inc.’s president and CEO. The company said it is establishing a search committee for a new president.

Comac (CFX.B-TSXV) has more than 250 franchise and corporate locations operating across Canada under three retail brands: Domino’s Pizza, Pastel’s Café and Company’s Coming Bakery Café.
