Richard Boyce has been named president of SYSCO Food Services of Edmonton. Boyce, who is currently the regional general manager, joined the company in 2001 after 30 years in the food service industry.
SYSCO provides products and services to food service operations in northern Alberta, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. It is a subsidiary of Houston, Tex.-based SYSCO Corporation (SYY-NYSE), North America’s largest food service marketer and distributor.
Morley Brown has stepped down as president and chief executive of Infiniti Resources International Ltd.
Chief operating officer Gordon Holden has assumed his duties on an interim basis. Holden was president and CEO until Brown assumed the role in February 2001.
Calgary-based Infiniti (IRL-TSXV) focuses on low- and medium-risk oil and gas projects.

Byer & Associates Ltd. of Edmonton. Keith Brooke of Calgary’s Unitech Electrical Contracting Inc. will serve as secretary-treasurer.
Merit Contractors is a non-profit association of construction contractors comprised of more than 820 member firms employing more than 20,000 workers.
Michael McAdam is returning to the University of Calgary executive offices as its vice-president (finance and services).
McAdam was associate vice-president (finance) at the university until 1998, when he left to take a position as vice-president of administration at the University of Manitoba.
He replaces Peter Valentine, who has held the post on an interim basis since last fall.
J. Blair Goertzen has been named chief operating officer and executive vice-president of Enerflex Systems of Calgary.
Goertzen has extensive experience in the energy industry, including 15 years at the executive level. Enerflex (EFX-TSX) supplies products and services to the global oil and gas production industry.
