Pierre Blouin has been named chief executive officer of MTS Allstream, which includes Manitoba Telecom Services Inc. and MTS Allstream Inc.
Blouin, who was most recently group president of consumer markets for Bell Canada, replaces retiring CEO Bill Fraser.
MTS Allstream (TSX:MTS) is a full-service telecommunications company based in Winnipeg.
Cargill Ltd. has named Len Penner as company president. Penner joined Cargill in 1975 and has held various management positions within the commodity, grain handling and crop input divisions prior to his current appointment.
Penner succeeds Kerry Hawkins, who retired after 41 years with Cargill.
Cargill is one of Canada's largest agricultural merchandisers and processors. Its head office is in Winnipeg.
