HudBay Minerals Inc. (TSX:HBM) has named Michael Winship as president and COO. Before joining HudBay, Winship was COO of PT Inco in Indonesia. Alan Hair, formerly VP of metallurgy, safety, health and environment, assumes the position of senior VP for development. He will work in Toronto. Tom Goodman, formerly VP of technical services and human resources, becomes senior VP of operations of Hudson Bay Mining and Smelting Co. Ltd. He will continue to work in Flin Flon. The changes to senior management follow the recent completion of HudBay's business combination with Skye Resources Inc. Consolidation of the two companies also resulted in the decision to move the company's head office to Toronto. HudBay is an integrated base-metals mining company with assets in North and Central America.
